We usually go out for Easter dinner, but I'll be cooking at home this year. What's on your Easter menu? We are definitely having a spiral ham, but I could use some ideas please. Thanks. :)

We always have ham, deviled eggs, potato salad, mac and cheese, peas, rolls and a "bunny" cake.

I like to have ham for Easter but there will only be 2 of us this year so I dont think we will get a big one. Not sure what we will do so I will be looking here for some ideas.

Ham basted in ginger ale, OJ, and pineapple juice. Smashed garlic new potatoes with heavy cream, deviled eggs are a must, yams with marshmellows on the top, another veggie, rolls, gravy. Yum! Leftovers the next day Denver omelets and later split pea soup with the ham bone.

I haven't yet decided if I am going to cook or not. My mom goes to work at noon, so I will have to be up bright and early to cook it! So I may skip, but if I decide to do it, the menu will be:
Ham (or the turkey breast from Harry and Davids that I fell in love with!)
mac & cheese
rolls
sweet potatoes
string bean casserole
coleslaw

I think that would be it.

You could have an Easter brunch. Pillsbury just sent me an email with Easter brunch ideas http://co117w.col117.mail.live.com/default.aspx?wa=wsignin1.0

We usually have a Honey Baked ham and a turkey breast (my brother doesn't like ham).
Cheesy potatoes
mashed potatoes
asparagus
homemade raviolis
Easter bread
Ricotta pie
Lamby cake

Substitute green beans for the peas and a "regular" red velvet cake for the "bunny" cake and this is our menu as well. :thumbsup2

Spiral ham, cheesy potatoes, green beans, deviled eggs, jello jiggler eggs for the kids, and cut out Easter cookies. O, and mimosas for the adults! :thumbsup2 It will just be our immediate family and possibly my bff and her two kids since her DH will be out of town. It's a very low key day for us.

Ham, mac and cheese, devil eggs, potato salad, and dessert.

We'll be away this year but I usually do kielbasa and sauerkraut (DH is 100% polish and insists this is tradional Easter food:confused3), since I hate the stuff I also have roast chicken. For sides I do asparagus, beets, hard boiled eggs and steamed new potatoes.

Yum!This thread is making me hungry. We're having ham, cheesy potatoes, strawberry pretzel salad, green bean cass, and rolls. Probably chocolate PB pie for dessert.

We are doing pot luck with my SIL and some other families (18 people total), so I am signed up for dinner rolls and dessert. For dessert, I'm doing trifle with strawberries, lemon bars, and I'm bringing the stuff to make "Resurrection Rolls" with all the kids. Basically, they are crescent rolls that you roll around a large marshmallow, then bake. When baked, the marshmallow disappeard and leaves an "empty" roll. I think the rest of the menu, if it goes like years past, will probably consist of ham, mashed potatoes, a couple of veggie side dishes, and lots of appetizers.

We'll be traveling home from a beach vacation, so I have no idea what our Easter dinner will look like! We might order pizza as we unpack! All of your menu's sound great!!

There will only be 3 of us this year, but that doesn't mean I can't make too much food!

Ham
Southern Style Green Beans
Baked Sweet Potatoes with toppings
Deviled Eggs
Rolls
Strawberry Short Cake

I might add Mac and Cheese to this after seeing it on so many other menus!

We are not sure of our Easter plans yet. My grandma will be at my mom's, 2.5 hours away and my in-laws are still at their winter home. Its our holiday with DSS's but we need to trade weekends with DH's ex and he mentioned just giving her the boys for Easter since we really didn't have any plans and our weekend in May is more important to have them. If that is the case, we may go down to my moms. If we don't I will cook the following:

Ham with pineapple sauce(have a half a boneless ham in the freezer)
Cheesy potatoes
Deviled eggs (never made before but DH and DD like them so I'll try to make them)
Baked beans
Jello salad
Rolls
Some type of dessert

DD has an Easter dress she is dying to wear so if it's just us, we'll all get dressed for dinner and I'll put out the china and fancy tablecloth and such :)
