What's your Easter menu?

After thinking about ham or prime rib all week I finally decided on...

grilled hamburgers! :lmao: Just the two of us this year and I have had a jones for hamburgers this year. But we will have deviled eggs and potato salad. And strawberry shortcake.

We are actually grilling out for Easter. Rib eye steaks (got them on sale), hamburgers, baked potatoes, salad, cupcakes, brownies. Our family doesn't really like ham.

It will be close to 90 and sunny here today :cool1:

We are having:

Ham
deviled eggs
chicken casserole (the kind with stuffing)
potato casserole (the kind with hashbrowns, cheese & soup topped with corn flakes)
corn
a green veggie of some kind
sweet potato casserole
strawberries
rolls
key lime bundt cake

You hit several of my favorites. My tummy is seriously growling.

Sheila

We usually go out for Easter dinner, but I'll be cooking at home this year. What's on your Easter menu? We are definitely having a spiral ham, but I could use some ideas please. Thanks. :)

Just got back in town from taking Easter lunch to my 94 year old Dad (almost 300 miles round trip) I know it's too late to help, but here's what I took. Boar's Head low sodium sliced ham from the deli, potato salad, chicken and dumplins, stuffed eggs with sliced green olives on top, spring salad mix with mandarin oranges, coconut cake, rolls. Meant to have fresh asparagus and lemonade but so much to pack I forgot them at home. It was still good, and I'm so glad I got to do it.

Just wanted to follow up with a picture of the cheesecake stuffed strawberries!

It's pretty easy but kind of time consuming. First hull the strawberries and then carefully pipe in cheesecake filling. Sometimes I use the Philly premade or I'll whip up a cheesecake filling using either the jello cheesecake flavor or creamcheese and powdered sugar mix. After that I place the strawberries in the fridge to set, then dip them in chocolate and dip the top part in graham cracker crumbs they're a big hit!!

I made your cheesecake stuffed strawberries for Easter and they were WONDERFUL! I'll definitely make them again. Thanks so much for sharing!!:thumbsup2

Bumping for this year!:)

I always have Ham or bar-B-q for Easter

This year my MIL wants to host and have the identical heavy meal we had on christmas-Roast, stuffing, green beans-just doesnt appeal to me

Just found out I don't have to have Easter. Woo Hoo, my SIL voluntered for the first time ever. All I have to do is supply a side and dessert. Loving it.
Might bring Cheesy potatoes and key lime pie, see what SIL wants.

Going to enjoy it.
