Whats Your Dining Hidden Gem?

I don't really believe in guilty pleasures...if I like it I do it. BUT, I think my hidden gem would be The Plaza. I hardly ever see anyone write about it. Man, they have some good meatloaf and the chicken sammie is awesome! And don't forget the ice cream!!! YUM!!! I could so eat that right now!!

Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe of Norway in Epcot. Their sandwiches are to die for! I had read about their school bread, which is great, but seriously, their sandwiches are great; and we can split 2 lunches for the 3 of us and get totally full.

I've never seen this place - where exactly is it located? I love gourmet inspired grilled cheese sandwiches - these sound great!!

La Hacienda - we've had good luck with last minute ADRs here. The food is fantastic!

I agree on La Hacienda. I doesn't get a lot of love here, but DH and I talk about our meals there on a regular basis. I love the shrimp tacos. He loves the corn tortillas and beans that come with every meal.

I loved La Hacienda. The shrimp tacos and the empanadas were so, so good. And I always love a good margarita.

La Hacienda IS good but we stopped going when they dropped it off the TIW card. No more discounts on those margaritas!

Boma, at Akl.... For BREAKFAST! We own Dvc there, and it has become our traditional "Check Out" morning breakfast, before heading to the airport. It's a huge meal, which makes it great for travel day, when we know we won't get to eat until we're home, late in the afternoon. There's such a great variety of choices... And they have my absolute favorite juice, called Frunch, yum mm.

I second this! I hate their dinner but breakfast is the bomb!

Taste Track is right by Test Track and I agree the sandwiches were delicious. BUT.... they changed the menu this summer and have been offering only ice cream sundaes. I'm hoping it was only for the summer and maybe the sandwiches come back when the weather gets cooler.

Mine is def Big River Grill & Brewing at the Boardwalk. I go there for lunch and a beer often and never crowded there...

I've never tried that one! I'll have to check it out!

Probably one of the few votes for a food court...but I crave the build-your-own-pasta at Port Orleans Riverside food court. Finish it off with a cold slice of cheesecake from their bakery. Perfection.

I definitely can vouch for that. POR has a great food court! Then again, it's the only place I ever stay, so I don't really have anything to compare it to!

I agree with Saana... Maybe not As much of a hidden gem on the dis but pretty out of the way and mostly empty at lunch the day we went.

I ate there for the first time in February. It was fantastic! I had the burger, which you wouldn't necessarily choose at a place like that. It was SO GOOD. I'd highly recommend it! I also scored a lunch reservation about 30 minutes before.
