I thought this was a great deal. I got great WDW rates, but was struggling to get airfare at a reasonable cost. It is April School Vacation week here.
I want to find out if I can add hopper to our base tickets. I booked on Expedia as I couldn't get a 4/3 room at POFQ thru WDW for those days.

I am planning to get a bounceback for fall for our whole family. We are struggling with the 5 in a room thing. Get 2 mod rooms, 1 br villa or squeeze into deluxe....unclear so far.

Finally got discount!!

Current deal for DH and myself:

Beach Club
Sept. 12 - 19th *my bday is the 18th*
40% off rate
7 day MYW with park hopper
Disney Magical Express
Travel Insurance (133.90)

Total: $2311.18

~ Still on the fence about adding the dining plan.
~ Airfare not booked yet because SW hasn't released the fares for Sept. yet, but I'm hoping that the $400 in SW gift cards that I have will cover most, if not all of it.

I say 'current' deal because I'm considering moving the trip up to August, to coincide with DH's bday. If I switch our ressies over to the Dolphin, we'd save almost $600, which would cover our meals.

Dolphin
August 28-Sept 4 *DH's bday is the 28th*
AARP rate 129/night x 7 nights = 1085.91
Discounted park hoppers: 261.65 x 2 = 523.30
*through Tickets At Work (Buy 4 days, Get 3 Free)
Towncar service: Happy Limo w/Mousesaver discount = $95 RT (plus $25 tip)

Total: $1729.21

The Beach Club has always been our favorite Disney resort, but in this economy, that extra savings that the Dolphin offers is hard to pass up.

What to do, what to do...

12/19-12/23
teacher discount swan 4 nites (149, 149, 149, 179)
no hoppers 4 days
no dining plan this time
$75 disney $ since hubby's bday will be when we're there and we'll already have tix
we drive!

$1685:thumbsup2

same as my 20% off pin code for Coronado Springs (the only moderate w/queen beds!?) to almost the dollar, so I switched to Swan to be closer to the action - hope I did the right thing! Lotsa time to switcharoo again before we go tho ;):surfweb:

Here's our family of 4 plan using the new spring codes:cool1: ...
I let the kids choose our resorts for our first split stay

4 nights 4/18-4/22 AsSp standard $327
3 nights 4/22-4/25 AKL standard $604
TOTAL $931

We are driving down
we have 4 left over 2 day PH, 3 day WF&More passes from last year
and free Universal Superbowl Tickets for DH and I.

woohoo:banana:

August 7-14
4/3 pkg for me, DH, DD13 and DS10
CSR with park hoppers added to the promo
$1845

Round trip tickets from Midway to MCO
$749

No dining plan, but will have Disney Visa rewards-hoping for $1000, right now I have $823 and we just put airfare on and will pay off remainder of pkg soon, and we put on all groc, gas, etc.

My plan was to wait for Disney Visa free dining, book CBR for end of Sept- beginning of Oct. Well you know what happens to plans sometimes!
My DD finds out that she now can trade points through her timeshare with DVC! So... as you can imagine, we had to do it!
She got us (DH and I) a 1 bdrm villa at OKW, for only $700 for the week! (Actually more like 800) Better than I was getting a plain room at CBR for. I was looking forward to the new pirate pool at CBR, but I'll survive.:goodvibes
We will be at OKW Oct 2nd to Oct 9th. Now need to find good airfare prices!

PS. We will be doing regular dining plan. No free dining for us. Free dining at CBR would have been a good deal, but we'll have a Villa and pay for dining- a decent trade-off.

Here is our deal:

2 adults
3children 9/7/5
1 Free 2 1/2 y/o

I think that is a good deal

Bounceback Free Dining (8/29 - 9/5)

2 Adults, 2 children (8 & 6)
7 nights at CSR Standard
6 Day Park Hoppers
Free Disney Dining for 7 nights
Total = $2,274

After reading through this thread, I'm starting to thing I got a really bad deal??!!
2 adults
3 kids (age 13,10,4)
9 nights standard room at POR
9 day MYW base tickets
QSDP plan
$3576
and for what it's worth, when I tried this deal without clicking the 4/3 link it was $720 more , so I must have gotten some kind of deal?!! Any opinions??

I dont think you got a BAD deal. You have to remember with the 4/3 deal only the room and tickets are discounted so you are paying full price for nine nights of QSDP. I think a savings of $720 is great considering only 3 nights were discounted. There is only a small difference between 4 day and 7 day tickets.
Also don't forget, you are traveling during summer rates and some people posting are traveling during value season.
Don't worry about it, go and have a good time!!! :goodvibes

Thanks, I guess there is alot to take into consideration when deciding if someone got a good deal! I am still torn on the QSDP with mine anyway...esp. since I have a skinny little dd that will turn 10 one week before we go!! Having second thoughts about that, as well as adding hoppers or WP and more!!:headache:

I know what you mean about upgrading the tickets. :scared1: I am leaning towards adding WP and more but I doubt we will add PH since we will be there for two weeks. Thank goodness we can add either after we arrive.:thumbsup2
