What's wrong with my DS?

I'm getting a bit concerned with my DS - 6 1/2, since our return from WDW last Monday. Wondered if anyone else has had their kids go a bit off colour when they get back.

He's claims to be feeling unwell, but only when it's near bedtime. He then wakes up during the night wanting to come into our bed. He's sweaty, but no temp. Hangs on to my leg around the house, wants to cuddle up on the sofa all the time and watch Lilo and Stitch!!! He's lethargic and cranky. Eating wise he's been ok - I've been trying to make up for the lost vegetables he missed while away! LOL But he's taking about his usual intake. Other DS 5 1/2 has been fine. he has a head cold, but is full of life as usual.
I'm quite worried about him - which is unusual for me. Being a nurse, I tend to diagnose things myself, and then take to the GP if I think they need antibiotics. But I'm thinking about taking him and having all his bloods ckecked. If it was jetlag, I thought he would be well back to normal by now!

Hugs for your DS.
I am not sure but if you are concerned I would definately take him along to your GP for advice, it cant do any hard.

He could just be run down, DD spends a few days quiet, and alittle spaced out, its such a huge holiday, and we cram in so much no wonder she feels like that but she usually picks up after a few good nights sleep.

Hope he is ok ,and gets well soon,It is awful when children are poorly.
Hugs and Loves :lovestruc

the last time my nieces came back they were poorly in bed for a few days, I am sure he will be ok, Its wierd how kids seem to feel it so much on the return trip poor little things

awww :grouphug: mybe all the excitement got to be overwhelming and he is taking a while to re-adjust, i know i feel very low after i come back from holiday.......its such a downer

I agree with Natalie I think the poor little fellas just a bit depressed, My son suffers really badly from lethargy after holidays but perks up as soon as the next ones booked and he's got something to look forward to

He's such a strange little boy.......he's just asked me where my cardigan is, 'cos he wants to put it around him and sit on the sofa watching TV before his dinner! :confused3

I've been reading up on Jet-Lag, and it looks as though it may be just that. It can take 3 weeks before some people return to 'normal'!!
