Am sitting on MCO waiting to fly home. My flight is delayed by 50 mins (so far) because they don't have a flight crew. This is the 3rd flight in a row (not counting first flights of the morning) that did not have a crew. What is going on with them? They certainly aren't the cheapest anymore and definitely not the most on time.
I think I will be looking elsewhere in the future.

See this article:

When you start looking elsewhere, be sure to look at baggage fees and change fees.

Instead of asking us I would be ask the gate agent for compensation since it appears to be a SWA issue.

Good idea. We had a flight last year that was about 2 or 3 hours late, we each got a $100 voucher without even asking.

That is an interesting article. Thanks for sharing.

Aint that the truth. The last year or so we've found flights including baggage for a good amount less than SW and better flight times. I'm wondering if they have increased their fares to cover the cost of the disaster sited in the article DebbieB posted.

what?!?! they give vouchers for late flights? the last 2 years,3 out of 4 flights was a big delay.... I attribute it to the merger with airtran, since it has been frequent since that happened. weird route changes, and who knows what, but it now seems like their new normal.I wish I had thought to ask about vouchers the last few times we sat around for 3 hours waiting for a flight crew to arrive...we just bring a good book and wait it out usually...I hate connecting flights on SWA for this reason
