what's the worst thing you've eaten at wdw?

The worst thing I've eaten at WDW was at Coral Reef. I ordered steak with tons of fat around and did NOT taste good. The salad wasn't all that great either. I don't think I'm going back there to eat anytime soon.

Anything from the Electric Umbrella. DH and I had different sandwiches and threw both of them out. Totally disgusting :scared1:

I have to agree. This place is the pits. Stick with Sunshine Seasons in Epcot.

About 5 years back my wife and I had dinner at Boatwright's in POR. Probably the worst meal we've ever had at Disney. Food was all very bland, and most of it was luke-warm at best.

I know they've since changed the menu a few times, but it still remains on our "do not visit" list.

A bug while riding EE...Ewwww :crazy2: other then that...I've liked everything I have ever eaten at WDW:thumbsup2

Believe it or not, it was the fish and chips at Raglan Road! Absolutely tasteless!

Love the fish at Rose and Crown and the fish shop!

The Ceaser Salad at Hollywood & Vine, although that was back in 2005 it really sticks out in my mind.
Also, nothing to do with how it was cooked, but I was really NOT keen on the fried green tomatoes from The Yachtmans Steakhouse last summer. I'm a vegetarian (my Dad, on the other hand, is very much not), and don't like to be picky, so I went for the listed item. Yeuck. It is actually a lovely restaurant and we're returning this year, I'm just glad they're gone from the menu!

Without question, Tusker House at Animal Kingdom circa 2006. Chicken salad that had morbid, slimy, uncooked-looking chicken. I could throw up in my mouth a bit just thinking about it.

I know it's changed and it's a completely different place now, but the experience was so bad I'm repelled like a magnet whenever I walk by! :D

The fish at ABC Comm in HS. OMG. Awful. I don't know if it was just an off day or what. Even the fries and chocolate mousse was gross. It was our last QS credit too. We won't be going back this time. Waited a long time in line and got dismal food. I also didn't like the pepperoni flatbread at Saratoga Springs food court, not bad just not great. Can't wait for Pecos Bills again!

I tend to think that about 90% of all QS is just bad anymore. Aside from a few main garbage dishes they all have the same junk. If I see another slice of chocolate or carrot cake in plastic I'm going to hurl. Nary a good fry on all the property either!

The chocolate fondue at Grand Floridian Cafe. They must have made it wrong that day, it was oily and awful tasting. Sent it back!

This thread is scaring me...has the food downgraded that much since June 2009 (the last time we went) :confused3

I don't remember anything really bad on that trip-we did eat most our counter service at the Mara (not in the parks). We ate at CM, Ohana, Sci Fi, H&V breakfast, Tusker House breakfast, T-Rex, Crystal Palace, Boma

Nothing was really bad, CM wasn't great, it was like Golden Corral or something

My snacks included 3 dole whip floats...yummy!

The only bad thing I had in my recent 9 day trip was the chicken Alfredo at Pop Century, but my boyfriend had it earlier in the week and it was delicious.

Yeah, everything else was delicious.

The funnell cake - it was hard and chewy and not very nice - I was so disappointed as I thought it would be the same texture as donuts/waffles :sad1:

The prime rib that was recommended to me at the Grand Floridian. Must have just wanted to get rid of it or something. But it was awful. I have been back since but only eat what I recommend. ;)

Several years ago, I ordered the kids chicken nugget meal at a counter service place at MK, and could NOT believe how foul they were. Seriously, they were bland, spongy little pseudo-meat lumps - I ate one, then broke another open to see if I had just gotten a bad one, but nope, the interior looked like a gray sponge with a million tiny holes. I sincerely hope that they've changed to a more food like product since then - poor kids, having to eat such drek!

The turkey at 'Ohanas. It was so bad my mom and I both had to discreetly spit it out. Absolutely disgusting!!! But.. it's still one of my favorite places to dine (for me and hubby, not my mamasan). The steak and all the sides are delish!

I don't think it has declined that badly since 2009. We just got back and it was all "fine" with some "really good". The only thing from this trip that I really disliked was the WCC skillet. And in that case I don't know if it was bad.. or more likely that we REALLY don't like the "liquid smoke" taste on the food. And if you don't like that you are out of luck because it is in everything on the skillet:sick:

The only other small complaint I had was that there was little to no dressing on our salad at O'Hana and WAY tooo much on our salad at WCC. Honestly.. either of those things could have been corrected.. we just didn't care enough to say anything. Chalk it up to bad salad dressing mojo:rotfl:

Otherwise, everything else on the trip was good or didn't stand out as bad:)

Tangeriene cafe in Morocco.

We had the Lamb Keftas, and the pita was SO DRY & STALE!! YUCK!
The lamb was also very gamey.

So upset, as we were really looking forward to it!
