Let’s just say, little one got me on the stardust racers. Oh my. 62 miles an hour and inversions. Momma can’t believe I actually did it. She asked if I’d do it again. I guess. Thank goodness the seats were so good as was out of my seat a number of times on the hills. Maybe one of these days I will brave the Dino one. Little one loves the big coasters, and hates to go alone. We are on our second day and night of Epic. We road most of what we wanted, and now enjoying some tea and coffee while the band plays very loudly. Been a great rain free day. Nice breeze now. Staying for the light show at the end of the night.

I feel your pain. I had done the 6 house UMH Tour that day and then did HHN the evening I saw you……..My sister K and I did all the houses that evening and I was a ZOMBIE walking back to the boat for sure.

Yes…..Jason is a good house their were Jasons everywhere towards the end of house.

Was glad the smell was not to bad when we went through the bathroom section of Terrifier House. Did wimp out and do the dry side of the ending though.


Up early this morning.

The couple of days have been beautiful during the day. Weather although humid has been pretty pleasant as far as the temp goes. Mornings start off very nice in the 70’s and overcast in the morning and then the sun comes out ant heats up. There has been a nice breeze.

We enjoyed pool time on Thursday and had a beautiful day at the pool. I needed to recover from the all day walking event Wednesday.

I did pop back in for a walk around HHN Thursday eveing and the weather was great. Really enjoyed the Cat Lady of Crooked Lane show. The best Scare Zone in Years.

I saw the Death Eaters in Diagon Alley. Nice little show with them too.

Yesterday we had a nice visit with Lynne and her daughter in CityWalk then we headed over to IOA for the day.

We rode a lot of the rides.

I’am so glad that Hagrid’s has Express. We rode that and I forgot how fast and wicked that ride is. There should be a shirt that says I survived Hagrid’s Motorbike ride……LOL

It started to sprinkle when we were heading back to the boat. It was about 6.00 pm. After the boat was filled and took off from the dock it opened up and it poured down.

We stopped in at the Club Lounge for dinner and called it a night.

This has been such a nice trip weather wise so far. There have been far more overcast starts to the days with nice breezes and then the sun picks up during the day.

It has not been oppressively hot as it can be this time of year.

Really enjoyed the Cat Lady of Crooked Lane show. The best Scare Zone in Years.

when i wore cat themed horror stuff, got some funny responses from scareactors. A great scare zone.

i enjoyed the elaborate costumes in vampire one. the gargoyle were effective in letting scare actors perform. Interested in costume design, took a good peak at the backs of them, such smart construction

lynne - interesting so many people complaining as to many of the 'water spouts' out of service already. yet to last there longer than 13 hours, never made it to the show, yet. always another trip lol

the condition of the concrete another matter. the joints are badly crumbling already, especially noticeable by the fountain. sloppy patched in place. whatever contractor surely dropped the ball there

sea world Howl of Scream was uncrowded and fun last night. sharks dinner was great., even better as $40 magical dining & got us into park early with no ticket

the mixed drinks were awful (same as during HHN, more booze doesn't equate to a craft cocktail ugh).

Ah all good fun has to end, we fly out tonight. Chilling for a few minutes, as we have to checkout soon. All is packed, and memories made.

It was very nice to chat with Robo and her sister, over coffee, yesterday. Hope you both have fun at Mickey’s Party tonight.

Ah, phone said chance of thunderstorms late afternoon again. We will watch the skies and the wind, and hopefully be inside when any rain falls again today. We definitely had good weather. Only one really rainy thunderstorm on our one Epic day. But other than that, not a full rainy day, and some days, no rain at all. But maybe fitting, as we arrived in rain, maybe will leave in rain. I hope not. And glad so far, our flight says on time. The other day, MCO was full stop due to tech issues. I hope we have a no issues getting home.

But yay, means our next fall trip is that much closer.

Happy Saturday. I have had a productive day so far. I actually went to the grocery store. One of my lease favorite chores especially on a Saturday, but I was in and out in about 45 minutes.

Yesterday B and I drove out to Roanoke to shop. She got a new outfit to wear to a friend's wedding next month. I just got new bath towels. Later this week I will wash all the old ones and take them to the local Humane Society.

Nothing interesting happening here. We have an away game today, so I will be watching it on TV. Hope the weather cooperates for those of you still at Universal and Lynne doesn't have any delays returning home.

Ah, rode Hagrid’s in about 30 minutes with express. Stand by was 130 minutes.

No fuss, filled up gas tank, then 20 minutes ride to drop off the car. Brief shower with sun shining, was all we saw during the ride. Very sunny as we sit at our departure gate. Delayed 7 minutes, our flight, as we saw as dropping off our bags. Hope that’s the only delay. Odd, but continuing service, after dropping us off in the North, is to St. Louis. Glad ours is a direct flight.

No lines to speak of, and quick enough drop off the car. Nice the lady logging in our car return, reminded us to take our sun pass. I found so much easier to have it, long ago now.

Hope all are enjoying the weekend.

Home again, home again, jiggy jig. Fast ride home, with a Wawa stop close to home, as both little one and I were hungry. Did my nighttime fresher up, and ready for bed. Glad I don’t have to turn on the alarm tonight. Little one was remarking I was sleeping later than I usual, and I think our so many nights out late, I did wake up much later than I tend to always be. Looking forward to so the same tomorrow morning. But then I’ll will turn the alarm on, and get to bed much earlier then tonight.

Will leave the light on for all who need it, where be it for a loo run or a frig raid to ward off midnight hunger.

Ugh, that week day routine start, was up a few minutes before the alarm went off. But got ready, and fast commute as usual, with it still dark enough, headlights needed. Ah, that pre dawn commute will not be missed. While I tend to be an early bird, I’d much rather lounge around after I get up. But, yay, as there is an end date, this year, for this week day routine.

So hope all enjoy a Most Marvelous Monday today.

And hehe, seems a warm front arrived when we did. 82 degrees today, with glorious sunshine and clear blue skies. I’ll take it for the now middle of September. Though, where I live, we do generally stay more warm than not in September. Remembering kids generally wore shorts their first month of school. And not all our schools have AC. Though our AC was working when we got home. Time of year, AC use will be less and less, and even the trees are starting to show their Fall colors. Have to say, I love the Fall, 70’s during the day, and 40’s to 50’s overnight. Jacket in morning and evening, but none during the day. And those yellow, orange and red seen, replacing many of those green leaf trees. Closing in on the days of Fall foliage fun. Yeah, and before ya know it, will be sadly saying look at all that gray.

Sunshine, yeah! - yay lunchtime walk with shades on. Woot! Love those sunny and warmer days and wearing sunglasses.

An uneventful Monday. I did not want to go to work today. Work has been slow which makes the day go by slower.

Yesterday was interesting. After church we went to lunch with friends. There were 5 of us in the group. We went to a chain steakhouse. We got our drinks and the appetizer that our friend ordered and then waited... and waited.....The waitress said our food would be out soon, and we waited. She finally brought the food for one person at the able and said the rest would be out soon. We waited. We finally realized that we had been there almost an hour and a half and only one person had food. The next time the waitress stopped by DH asked for the manager. The manager was very apologetic and said that we would not have to pay for our food. No clear explanation for what happened. We finally got our food 2 hours after ordering.

After lunch dh wanted to stop at the grocery store. After that I had about a 45 minute nap then we went to a baseball game. We have a minor league team here.
DH knows someone who works for the organization and gave us complementary general admission tickets. I was reminded of why I never sit on bleacher seats. The game went into extra innings, but our team won. After the game we had a very late dinner and didn't get home until around 11:00.

Dh got paid today, so I need to go pay some bills. Ugh.

Ah, glad the week days are going by fast. Already Tuesday, and camel is ready to say that mid week day reminder tomorrow.

But yeah, Taco Tuesday is here!




Yep, the day of the week, we say enjoy a taco today, as easy to eat this hand held meal items.

Nice enough day, as sun was shining all morning, then a sun shower an hour after my lunchtime walk. Now, still bright, though more overcast, but still warm. Rainy day chances the next two days, then glorious sunshine predicted Friday, and all weekend. Thank you Mother Nature. 3 days of full sun and clear blue skies, and low to mid 80’s high’s, to end the week. And since a rude awaking yesterday, and as coming back late Saturday night, I’m taking Friday off. Gotta take advantage of those gorgeous weather days coming up, after two rainy weather ones.

Most Terrific Taco Tuesday today, all. One more sleep, and it will be Wednesday. Woot! One less day on my countdown to the run and fun at the end of October.

Ah so quiet here, lately.




But yay, at the mid week point already, and camel is here, back on duty:



Oh I hear ya camel, I wish it was a relaxing day for me. But fast enough commute, mostly green lights for a change, and 3 meetings today, two so far, and one coming up shortly. At least then seems to make the day go faster.

But hey de ho, it’s Wednesday today. You know, that mid week day where camel reminds us, get over this hump of a day feeling day, then fantastic Friday feeling is then a day away.

Woot! Alarm to be tuned off after I get up tomorrow. So looking forward to a 3 day weekend. Yeah, after that double long week break. At least I have another week to enjoy some more Fall fun in that warm FLA sun. After that coming up fun trip, will then be less than a month before I can travel as long and as much as I want. Woot! Still thinking to try to book a holiday trip. Why not? Still have some air credit to use. Still not ready to book, as seems much not available, as I guess many booked already for the holidays. But ya never know. Bounce back into next year? Maybe a better idea. Enjoyed the arts Epcot Festival more than the current wine one. Like the flowery one too, but even little one said, our May trips are almost too crowded for us, being many cheer and other groups to add to the crowds. But did enjoy that spread at the Kitchen for Mother’s Day for many years. This last time, we tried close to Valentine’s instead, and took a June trip, where we said probably not wanting to go that month either next time, as we went when many kids were off and was so hot feeling. Interestingly, our most recent trip, where you’d think we’d have those 100 degree feeling days. Nope, most of our days were hot but not nearly as hot as the weeks before had. I’ve been the beginning of October for many years, and it’s still warm enough down there, I wore shorts day and night. This time, we are a week later. Unplanned until little one got those run tickets. Weekend event, but I said, hey, let’s just make it a week. And so, we did. Still going to pack mostly shorts and maybe a lightweight sweatshirt, just in case. May have a heavier one with me, as at home, our end of October can be rainy and cool, be very cool or almost warm. We even had snow one Halloween day. So, to be closer to that equator, yep, I’m game.

Most Wonderful Wednesday to all. And like camel, hope many of the homies are making it a relaxing day, today.

Afternoon for me. Wee, hours to go on that crazy longer drive home. Gotta love the city. Yesterday, missed the green light getting out of the complex, as a city school bus decided to run the yellow light and the line in head of it was still long in front of it after the light, it stopped in the middle of the intersection. Sigh. As I said, will not miss my commuting days.
