What's the worst restaurant in WDW?

We liked LTT, of course we didn't have the stouffers stuff, we ordered the pasta with the ham in it..yummo!!

Ok...my personal WORST AWFUL HORRIBLE (and other negitive adjectives ;)) restaurant in WDW is Planet Hollywood.

We've been there 2 times, and my dm went with her friend once.. We have vowed NEVER to come there EVER again... Awful food and terrible service everytime.

The straw that broke the camels back was when our group of 6 ppl went there last time. We all ordered sandwiches and salads, and it took us 2 hours to recieve the food!! :scared1:

No...it WASN"T crowded. Our waitress basically forgot us after she took our orders. The manager noticed us without our food and NO drink refils around 1;30 (we got there at opening) and appologized profusely... We got free deserts and a discount off our tab...but we were kinda ticked the waitresses tip was still included in the total.... :sad2:

Our waitress when she DID come back was really huffy, and when my dh ordered a souviee glass, she gave him a PLAIN glass without the logo! Dh didn't discover this until we got home from vacation (it was hand taped in a box).... owell

This PH MUST be managed poorly, because we have went to the PH in Niagara Falls and NEVER had any sort of problems.:confused3

The only two places we won't go back to...Ohana's and Chef Mickeys. We gave them each three tries, and each time they got worse. Food bad, waiters bad. Everything about them just gross!:scared:

We didn't really try a lot of table service restaurants until we went on the free dining plan last year. I can't really remember a bad meal...

I'd say worst food we had on our last trip was ABC Commissary. Ugh. Good dessert tho. I should have ordered 3 and called it a meal.

In my mind I think of Hollywood & Vine just because of all the bad reviews on here. We didn't make reservations there because of it. Who knows, maybe we'd like it :confused3

By far the worst was Tony's! I thought the menu looked good but none of the 3 adult meals we ordered tasted even decent. All of the appetizers were terrible as well. i think it was the only night we bought food after eating on the meal plan all day.

Cantina De San Angel Counter Service in EPCOT

That' really funny so many people have such differing views. We really enjoyed the food here for CS.

I have to say our worst was Backlot express. We really liked all the TS places we ate at last time so I can't pick a least favorite of those.

I can honestly say I don't think we have had one meal where I'd say we would NEVER go back. I am not an adventure eater so laces my DH likes I still go and eat off the kids menu or try and find something I'd eat. DH LOVES BOMA were I like the ribs here everything else for me is a bit ethnic. I stick to the kids buffet and let's not forget my fill of zebra domes-YUMMY!!!!

We do Biergarten every year. DH was stationed in Germany and LOVES the food and Beer of course. I only have a couple things here I like but it's not bad and I still go back.

The only place I try an avoid is the Tusker House. I usually have a hard time finding something I want. But if we're walking by and the family is hungry we stop.

Our whole family did not like Pizzafari , rude cashier ,bad pizza and bad kid meals. Maybe it is better now but this is the only place I will not go back to , we can get pizza anywhere.

I'm from LOUISIANA and Know CATFISH,
We're used of eating true Southern Fried Catfish with cornmeal batter (very light in texture) and this Catfish has the batter of Chicken Fried Steak, It even tasted like chicken
beats me how they could do that??? If I wanted Chicken Fried Steak I would have ordered it.:sad2:

We loved the Garden Grill, but do NOT go there for the catfish. "Tasted like chicken" is about right -- and too much breading for the amount of fish.

;)

Hi- I know I'm jumping in here, but I'm a local bu new to disney and was looking for the resturants to try last... but saw the Catfish post and had to reply. Leave disney property, go to St Cloud and go to the Catfish Place... no I don't work there, no I don't recieve any revenue from them but if thats what your craving its the best there. They also have great fried green tomatoes, oysters, tilapia. Not the best place if you don't want fried food.

Thanks! :)

Another vote for Chef Mickeys.

The lines are pretty bad even with ADR. To make things worse once you check in they immediately take a picture and then ambush you with their photographer.:confused3

I guess what we can learn from this is that EVERY Restaurant has good days and bad days...just like people. No one is perfect.

Tony's
Sci-Fi (two strikes on this one at dinner, would be willing to try lunch)

We won't go to the Coral Reef again. Although I think the menu has changed since May 2005, it was awful. I don't think the food was prepared bad, it's that I just didn't like what I ordered. If that makes sense. $75 later, we were still hungry. I remember looking at the menu and absolutely nothing appealed to me.

We also won't return to San Angel Inn. The food wasn't good- we can get much better tasting Mexican at our local restaurant.

Worst TS - Big River Grill & Brewing Works

Worst CS - ABC Comissary

Worst Buffet - Hollywood & Vine - Also wins the "Worst Meal In The Park" award!

For the most part, I don't think we have experienced any "exceptional" dining at WDW. There have been, though, several that stand out as unbelievably horrible. The Sci-Fi was plain awful. The menu was very limited. Alfredo's was some of the worst Italian food we've ever eaten. The staff was also completely inattentive and slow! Akershush- We know NOBODY is going there for the food, the buffet is horrible but the look on your little one's face when Mulan comes over to the table is worth this culinary disaster.

I find this funny as HW& V breakfats was the best meal we had all week. We loved the food and the character interaction! Oh well, everyone has a different opinion.

Ha. We love Akershush for the food too. Really it is DH favorite was before the Characters and is after. He is a Chef (very good might I add) too. he loves that it is different. Also When we go the Chef always comes out to talk to us and last time brought him samples of 2 things to try before he ordered one. It was great.
