i am headed to disney in a month and i am very excited about it. I have never been to the park at christmas time and cant wait to see what everything looks like. I was wondering what the weather is like in december, what kind of clothes should i bring with me? princess:

December weather is very unpredictable. When we went in 2004, the weather was great - low 70's as the high. We wore capri's or shorts with t-shirts each day. I've heard it can get cold though and be in the 40's. The best thing to do is check the weather right before you leave.

Im interested in the weather right now. In NOVEMBER. (I know, I know- check weather.com-- but it isnt the same). I leave in less than a week- do i need to pack only shorts and short sleeve shirts?? HELP! :worship:

Ladies, The temp in Dec is quite unpredictable. As long as you have a light jacket and maybe one sweater with you just in case you will be fine.
With respect to November weather its quite nice during the day right now. I know I live in Canada but my DF is working in Orlando now so every day he makes me jealous with his phone calls in the morning telling me how perfect the weather is there! Usually in the morning its about 50-60 and by noon its around 73-80. The weather is still perfect golf weather outside. I would suggest a light jacket for nighttime since it does cool down.
I hope it helps!

We are leaving for Disney one month from tomorrow. We have gone down at Christmas for the past 4 years. We have been there when it was in the 70's and 80's the whole time, sometimes it is in the 60's and there were a couple of days when it was only in the 50's. One year, it was only in the 30's the whole time we were down there... So, as everyone else says, check the weather before you leave. I highly recommend accuweather.com. It has always worked out better for me than weather.com. :sunny:

Maggimus - I would not just bring shorts and t-shirts. I would at least bring a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt or light jacket. It still gets cool at night. Have fun on your trip!! :thumbsup2

Today I went to the Disney store with DF to pick up some small fans for our trip. They have these light up fans for .99cents(origionally 5.99- much cheaper than buying them at disney)- so we grab 4 and head to the register. DF and I commented on the fact that its so expensive buying them at disney and he said he just got back last night. He said the weather there is very warm in the day (nothing but t-shirts and shorts) and at night you might take a sweat shirt with you to illuminations and such.

Weather.com has the 10 day forecast- the closer you get (within 10 days ofcoarse) the more accurate it will be (but for us early packers- it doesn't help that much)

I just got back yesterday. The weather was soo nice. I wore short sleeve shirts and capris everyday. My dad and fiance` wore shorts everyday. It gets cool in the evenings though. I would pack a light jacket for the evenings.

It depends on what you are used to, December in England is very cold and wet (as is most of the year lol) so whatever the weather it will be an improvement to me!

we went Dec '02 and it was colder than we expected. Some days and every evening we wore either long sleeve cotton sweater, or a T and a cotton hooded top and jeans. I think the best thing is to take layers, that way you're covered whatever the weather.
