A friend lives by the motto:
"I'd rather live to regret the things I did instead of the things I didn't do."
As long as it's not illegal or immoral (forget the fattening cause I'm not giving up that) I'm willing to try many things. Life is unpredictable and I want to experience as much of it as I can, when I can. I'm not waiting until I "retire" to travel, for example.
Too bad many people don't live by the motto "don't sweat the small stuff". A co-worker recently stayed home for four days because something minor didn't work out right. All I could think is that she will fall apart if something of real importance happens in her life. Get over it and save your emotions and effort for what's really meaningful, such as your family and relationships.
