What's the most snow you had in a 24 hour period?

I think it was back in 1998 when we first moved into our house, but I think we got around 17 or 18 inches...

Boston just broke it's record from 1978 with 27.5 inches in less than 24 hours

Well, a quarter inch in snowfalls that I can remember. But I think the big blizzard in 1963 got close to an inch. I got to build 2 snowmen in that one...though I only have faint memories.
