What's the most "rare" character you've met?

Figment has been removed from the character roster.

But I heard that he's currently on an extended vacation until April...probably for costume modifications.

shhhhhhhhh! :rolleyes1

truth be told all the costums are busted.

here is a rare one for you folks I'm just curious how many of you have acutaly seen her

Clariece. the female chipmunk. Oh yeas she exists but she's been in tokyo for quite a while.

psst. Shes comming back in the spring along with gaget.
Oh, please Disney, hope this is true!!! I heard similar rumblings. Clarice would be a fun one to add, as those Chipmunks need a love interest! Her cartoon short has been played on the tv show House of Mouse, so there is a tiny chance some kids may know who she is! :)

I think Gagdet was out years ago, as I think Meeko had posted her photo. Gosh, that would be cool to have both of them!! :)

at dlrp i got a picture with kenai koda and stitch together

at wdw over the years I have had pics with abu, megara with hercules (release year) and brer rabbit

True - Clarice will be back some time this spring, but I heard there may be a delay on Gadget due to problems with the kevlar (her costume) and needed modifications. I like Clarice but am anxiously awaiting the return of Gadget! :teeth:

We got Jiminy Cricket last July at Epcot.

Would LOVE to meet JC!!! I have been told multiple times by CM's that you can usually only find him during the Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot...but if you saw him there in July, then that is not true! Maybe I will try again this coming June! Thanks for the info!

I don't know if it's rare, but the funniest character we "met" was when my then 4 year old (now 6 1/2) was walking towards the Muppets theater. People were standing next to an "Army Guy" from Toy Story getting pictures. He was completely still and people assumed he was a statue. My husband want up for a picture and bumped his arm and thought he felt real, but wasn't sure. My daughter went next. She assumed the picture position next to the "Army Guy". Without hesitation, he immediately crouched down into a new pose and stared at her. She FREAKED OUT and took off running. It was hilarious to us (yeah, I know that's harsh) and she still gets mad at us when we mention it. We haven't seen the elusive lone "Army Guy" since that trip.

Just thought of two more--
The first week of December 2005 my in-laws got Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale all together in their holiday gear. It was after the MGM parade. They almost passed it up, but a CM told them it was rare so they should get the picture.

Last summer, my husband and Mr. Incredible were chasing each other around in the Animation Station at MGM. It was late and hardly anyone else was around and he had his Mr. Incredible shirt on so the two were trying to out-hero each other.

Yes, Gadget did use to appear at WDW. She was in the show at what is now Mickey's Toontown Fair (then Mickey's Starland) and did meet and greets. It would be awesome to see her again. I miss her.

I hope Clarice does start appearing. Wouldn't she be a cool character to have at MGM? They could have her with Chip and Dale in their Tuxes doing meet-and-greets together on Hollywood or Sunset.

I'll share my rare character once-in-a-lifetime-thank-goodneess-for-the-camera moment!

In 2001, DD(then 7) had her Birthday button on as we entered MGM in the late afternoon. The CM said he would tell her a little birthday secret. He told her the Old Hag from Snow White was over behind the collectibles store (Sid Cahuenga's autograph place on the left of the turnstiles).

I took off running. I kid you not, I ran from the CM, leaving DH to handle the three kids, stroller, tickets, everything!

Sure enough, the Old Hag was on the far side of the store. She was peering into the windows scaring the customers!!! It was hysterical! She was tapping on the window, and when they looked out, they saw the Old Hag. Her handler was just standing back, and she had nobody around her at all.

By the time DH and the kids caught up to me, I was a blithering idiot telling her how much I adore villains, and how I'd always wanted to meet her, and blah and blah and blah! I was like a kid backstage at a rock concert!

Can you tell how awesome this was for me---I'm rambling!! :rotfl2:

I can't believe there are people who have met Jiminy Cricket & Dumbo!!!!
That's crazy! That's like my goal in life!

The most rare (to me anyway) characters I've met I think was at MNSSHP and my sister and I took a picture with Captain Hook and Smee! Never seen them before!
Also, I remember years ago I saw Figment and The Dreamfinder in Epcot. But that was about 20 years ago when I was about 6, and back then it probably wasn't that uncommon.

Oh yeah, and I saw Kermit the Frog in MGM on my honeymoon!

"rarest" people, RAREST. haha

I got pictures taken with the Country Bears in Epcot. We also got our picture with Daisy Duck. During the same trip, we got a picture with Kermit and Miss Piggy. We met Rabbit in ToonTown Fair at the "back entrance." While waiting for Toon Town to open, we got to play "Simon Says' with Rabbit, Stitch, Mr. Smee, Goofy, Max and more. It was a fun day!

During our last trip, we met Launchpad McQuack in Town Square.

2003 was the first time we had ever seen Daisy, and she was with Donald. They were doing pictures together. It was so cute. They are my favorite couple. We have seen her since, but not "with Donald".

Donald & Daisy were out together at MGM yesterday. They were outside one of those silver (Airstream?) trailers across from Millionare.

Clarice would be awesome at MGM! Her famous cartoon short (where Chip and Dale compete to perform on stage with her) fits in perfectly with a Hollywood theme. :)

Many people here seem certain that Clarice will be coming! Hope that is a good sign! :thumbsup2

We saw them!! We just got back from WDW last night.. We were at MGM a few days ago and got Daisy and Donald together!! Very exciting..

Not sure how rare the Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh is but we ate at Crystal Palace the other day and got a picture with him.. :goodvibes

I didn't see Dark Wing Duck on any list. He was my son's favorite about 10-12 years ago. And he was hard to find back then. I guess he went the way of Roger Rabbit.

He's still out and about...the picture in my sig is from January.

Next time you visit WDW, ask a CM if he's supposed to come out and you might be able to grab him.

Good Luck!

Old timey: Figment and Dreamcatcher and Mickey in his spacesuit. Also saw Goofy in his Viking costume.

In 2001 we saw Miss Piggy, but she didn't sign autographs then!

In May 2004 we saw Genie

In Nov 05: Princess Atta, Launchpad, Cruella
