My DH would probably say fly on a jet! :teeth:

Before I was married, I landed a 4-seater plane and then took off again out in Colorado years ago.

What I'd like to do daring now is Parasailing! I think that would be awesome!

Parasailing would be fun!

I went caving once. Exploring through a cave. It scared me to death, the spaces are too small and dark. I wouldn't do it again.:D

I've done all kinds of crazy things.

Lets see I decided to see how fast my car could really go on a country road... I stopped looking at 95 mph!

I also did said car around a turn, and almost went over a guardrail... (the dent is still in the guardrail--almost 20 years later!)

Walked around in my underwear week after week for three years doing Rocky Horror! (I think of the hundreds of total strangers that saw this.... I shudder at that)

Bwhahaha! If you did it in 1980 at the TLA I saw you Cindy!

I don't know, Kitty. Water ski or white water rafting? I would hardly call the water "white water" though. There were a little bit of bumps and splashing here and there. On my to do list is parasail and rafting down the Colorado. I would love to go sky diving or hang gliding, but only tandem! I'm too askeered to jump off the cliff or out of the plane alone! :earseek:

I tried to take part in a Dis board political debate.

I still have nightmares...

Nope.... Harwan Theater, Mt. Ephraim NJ, from 1990-1993:

Daring? How about these:

* Drove a purpose-built Champ Car around California Speedway at 147.92 mph

* Occasionally stand in the hot pit lane at Champ Car races with people like Paul Tracy screaming their race cars just two feet or so away from my toes

* Rode the "X-Scream" ride on top of the Stratosphere Tower <shudders at the memory of it>

I don't know... I guess those are "daring".

I rode Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point... its not exactly the most daring, but it was fun!

White water rafting, the rides at the top of the Stratosphere in Las Vegas and indoor skydiving. All of which I would do again!

Ok About to seriously date myself:) I was know to Car surf( like mj fox in teen wolf) af ew times during my high school and college days:) I have drag raced trucks on back roads, was once clocked at 110 mph inm a 1 ton dually pick up,, with a 3000 lb load in truck bed. First time I went up in an airplane, I jumped out of it.

Here are a few things I've done, though I don't know that they're all considered daring.

I've driven 110, I water ski all the time, jet skied, when I was younger, I crawled out the window onto our attic roof and climbed down the side of the roof (by the water spout) and climbed down to the 2nd story patio. This was a huge house and that to me is probably the most daring thing because looking back now, I can see just how dangerous that was. I've climbed several mountains, but that wasn't really daring, they weren't straight up! I drove a motor cycle, not very well however! My best friend (girl) bought one and MADE me try it!

I want to try parasailing. I see them doing it out on the lake every year, but I can't bring myself to pay that amount of money to try it. Maybe one day? I'd also like to bungee jump.

It is certainly NOT entertaining any DIS debate stuff if I can help it. :scared1:

:scratchin Hmmmm...Daring, some might think the white water rafting, the scuba diving, the jumping out of a plane, the parasailing, the skiing and such that I have done was most daring of me.

Or, I might have said perhaps that first speech I made somewhere I don't even remember now was most daring for me.

Or, even the first DIS meet I attended with strangers I met over the Internet was most daring of me.

However, the most daring thing to me that I have done by far is raising our 2 baby boys to adulthood. Whew! they made it!

I'm so thinking I am done being daring now.

I find public speaking to be very daring!! Back when I would be in meetings at my job, we'd had maybe 60 employees and I could talk to any of them one on one, but I was unable to get up and speak to them as a group! LOL I wasn't intimidated by any of them, I just can't do the public speaking thing at all. I applaud all of you who can!

I took my little itty bitty Suzuki swift to 120 even though the spedometer only went to 80...the reason I know I was going 120 is that I was "racing" some people who were going 120!

I'm not sure if I thought of it as "daring" at the time, but looking back, it was probably the STUPIDEST thing I've done!

I think when I went into a haunted house by myself...:scared:

Ok I have done a lot of things that I cant post.

But here is one I can.

My mom took me to the airport. I was late and I got bumped off my flight (the last one for the night. My mom had left and I had an exam the next day that I could not miss.

So, I went to the rent a car place and asked if anyone was going the same direction. I got a ride from 7 different guys (complete strangers) that night..but I did make it back in time for the exam.

Hmmm...I parasailed...not too exciting but was wild for me.

Tiger Lily... not only have I been to DIS meets, my family SLEPT at the house of a Diser and family...never met them till the day we moved into their house...had a great time, but looking back that was pretty nuts. (Seemed so normal at the time too. )
