Whats the most annoying thing your cat does?

My kitties are the perfect snowflakes (look at my siggy) and couldn't possibly have one annoying habit between the three of them. However, if my kitties were normal, these would be their annoying habits.

Spike--18 pounds 19 months

Doesn't cover his poo
Plays, shreds, and unravels TP
Attacks feet while under covers while the human is sleeping
scratches DH's chair

Mr. Mistoffelees 19 months normal weight

Howls to go outside
sneaks outside
knocks things off to watch them fall
scratches DH's chair

Disney 3 months normal weight

Sleeps on your face--you can't breathe
drinks from the toliet bowl
has foul gas
scratches DH's chair

Timmy is a very handsome kitty, but we think he was hiding when they handed out kitty cat brains at his birth! And the vet says he has some neurotic habits from being taken away from his mother too soon. He likes to lick my T-shirt. Better yet, if I am wearing a flannel shirt he wants me to carry him around like a baby while he licks.

He climbs into the kitchen sink to lick the faucet. He'll come running when he hears the water.

He has to get both up and down the stairs ahead of me. Last weekend he finally managed to trip me badly enough that I went flying down the stairs.

His favorite time to play is in the middle of the night.

He bangs on any closed door wanting to be on the other side. One of the downstairs closets he will bang at for 20 or 30 minutes. Or until I give in and go downstairs and pick him up and carry him around so he can lick my shirt.

All the Kleenex boxes in my house are upside down because if you leave them where he can get to the tissues, he will lick and eat the tissues.

Despite all of this, he is our baby and we wouldn't trade him for anything!

I have two cats. The "jealous one" pees around the perimeter of all three litter boxes instead of inside it. I now put dog training pads around the litter boxes to combat this issue.

I have two kitties. Sammy - who is 11 - and Jack - who is almost 4.

They are both terrible about clawing the carpet. Sammy ALWAYS throws up on the carpet ot furniture. Doesnt matter how much hardwood or tile is in the place. He will find the carpet.

Jack likes attention and wants to sit in your lap all the time, which I dont mind at all. It is just he has to kneed you while he is in your lap and he always has his claws out while he is doing it.

Sammy opens up every cabinet in the house. He will eat every plant - real or fake we have as well. Jack will lick plastic bags.

But really, none of these things bother me too much. I love them dearly and they are part of our family and do many sweet things.

Sammy is so great with our DD who is 2. She hugs and kisses him and even tried to ride him like a horse the other day, and he just lets her.

I thought of this thread last night when I was awoken at 3am to a cat licking my elbow.. wth is that all about? So far that could be their most annoying thing

I have 3 cats one being a neurotic tom and it can't be because of being removed from his mum because she has never been away from him. I have 2 litter boxes (did have 3 but they wouldn't use the third one) so when the two are cleaned there is a race between the girls on who uses them first. The winner will pee in one box stop half way run over to the next one with crossed back paws and finish the pee in the second one why I have no idea!!!!!!!!

:rotfl:

pees on towels and bath mats

eats my flowers - cant have plants in the hous

chews platic and reciepts, especially carbon copy

I have hardwood in 75% of my downstairs, he never fails to hit the carpet

Our Siamese never ever shuts up. When I"m on the phone, people (who don't know me) will say, "I hear your baby crying.....I'll let you go" :rotfl:

She also attacks our feet when we're on the computer (BITES!) - NO FUN!

She jumps onto the counter and opens a cupboard where we keep the girls hair ties, dumps them out and plays with them while we're gone. We come home to find about 15 of them in her food dish.

my cat looooooves ear wax :scared: AND he likes to lick my boyfriends armpits in the middle of the night :scared1: But hes definately my little love bug!

my one cat constantly meows all the time. if he's awake, he's making noise. sometimes i'm on the phone with a doctor's office or something like that and he's still meowing away, like he's part of the conversation or something....

We have 1 very large 27 lb kitty named Goober. He is perfect....except - when he touches my face while I am asleep - he wakes me up hoping I will feed him - he doesn't scratch just touches my cheek with the pads of his paw - HATE it but I love my moose kitty
