Whats the most annoying thing your cat does?

My cat unrolls the ENTIRE roll o f toilet paper in the middle of the night. It is most annoying, cuz from the bed you will hear a funny noise, but by then it is too late. Then once it is all unrolled, he makes himself a nice spot to nap in a pile pof fresh TP, usually blocking the door. SO you wake up, can't get into the bathroom, and there is a cat alseep in a big pile of TP.

He also sits on the keyboard when trying to type.

Every time we turn on the kitchen faucet, she comes RUNNNNNNNING from wherever she was sleeping, jumps up, and sticks her face right into the running water.

My Lilly will open and shut all the cabinets. We have to close all the bathroom doors at night or we just hear bang, bang, bang. We have baby locks on the kitchen cabinets for the cats and dog, not DS:rotfl:

Riley will hit the cat door at full speed and break it. It has been fixed numerous times and she still does it. I don't know why she can't go through it at a normal speed.

My cat thinks that between 2-4 a.m. is the perfect time for lovey one-on-one purring time. Immediately following lovey time, he lays down on my pillow and kicks my head (albeit gently) until I make room for him so I end up sleeping crooked the rest of the night with about 2 inches of pillow for my own enjoyment while he stretches out on the rest.

She doesn't "cover her business" in the litter box. :(

She walks in, gets in done, and walks out.

I scoop once a day, so the rest of the time I'm in there covering it up for her. :(

I don't know why she won't cover, but it's the most annoying thing she does, or rather doesn't do. :)

Other than that she is perfect. Very affectionate, loves to be petted and held. Sleeps with me, comes running just like a puppy dog when I come home, follows me around "talking" to me, doesn't get into mischief, stays off the tables/counters, doesn't even bother the Christmas tree. She's great! Except for that one thing.

Our cat does this too....I tell the kids that he can't stand the smell either and has to get out of there :lmao:

He is also know to get his toys in the litter box too and then I have littler everywhere.

I used to think the cats had annoying habits, but then I got a dog!!!!:lmao:

Now the cats barely register on the annoying scale!!!

We have learned not to leave plastic bags around. The running from a wood/tile floor to a rug in order to bring up a hairball is the worst!!! Then again, the two we have now are mellow and well mannered. A cat we had before would pee in open boxes, swipe at the calendar or the light pull chain in the middle of the night, attack our shoulders while we were in bed, attack or eat the plants - he had issues! One cat would make a stink in the litter box and RUN to the other end of the house!

:wizard:

Most annoying thing my cat does is when I'm trying to simply walk somewhere in the house, he runs to get in front of me and then saunters back and forth, blocking my path, getting under my feet so that I nearly trip and break my neck.

The other thing is whenever I get within the general area of the cat food stash he runs over like he's starving to death, even though he ate like 30 seconds before.

3 cats with 3 sets of annoying behaviors:

Purrcey-
*begs at the table. He reaches out and grabs our arms as we're trying to put food in our mouths. He will eat anything!!
*doesn't cover his poo in the litterbox.
*bullies the other 2 cats and drives them crazy.

Lily-
*wakes me up in the morning by knocking things off of my dresser. Meows and pounces on me in bed so I will get up and feed her.
*will lay there getting petted happily, then suddenly turn and scratch/nip with no warning.
*loves to crinkle plastic bags in the middle of the night, a sound that really grates on my nerves.

GiGi-
*hates the other 2 cats and growls at them, even when they are trying to be nice to her.
*occasionally pees or poos outside the litterbox (she gets intimidated by Purr and won't try to get past him to the boxes).
*tries to bite and attack the cat brush when I brush her (she's long haired, and needs to be brushed every day).

Even with the annoyances, I love my babies and wouldn't trade them for the world.

My cats chew all the plastic bags in the house. Sandwich bags, grocery bags, any plastic. We can't leave any around the house. It's so annoying.

Ditto... and they always seem to find one at 2am for some reason????

My DBF has two cats. The younger one, a 2-year-old boy, Dio, completely ignores his two scratching posts and goes at the side of the sofa. We even put one of the posts right there; he goes around it and *pick-pick-pick*

The 9-year-old girl, Monster, just seems to think she's a dog. The other night while eating dinner (we sit on the sofa, as DBF doesn't have a dining set), she climbed into my lap and stuck her face in my plate.

Then there are the times when Dio decides to chase Monster...you hear the quick padding of the paws, then a screech and a hiss. It's funny, however, when Monster turns the tables on Dio. There's a hole cut in the basement door for them to go down to their "bathroom"...Dio had just chased Monster, then stopped and sauntered over to the door...Monster waited until just the right moment, then ran over, put her head down, and nailed him right in the butt. Through the hole in the door and down the stairs (he didn't fall, but he ran quickly!).

One of my cat chews my expensive bras, my expensive shoes, my expensive purses and my books.

Basically all of the things that I love, so I figure she was meant for me! LOL

My wonderful Meryl has a number of tricks for getting me up on weekends to feed and pay attention to her. The most annoying of these is to jump on the bed and make her way to the pillows (often crawling over my and DH's heads to do so) so that she can reach the shade pull on the window at the head of our bed. Then she proceeds to play with the string pull until we throw her off the bed.

The most annoying thing is that they can't seem to throw up on the vinyl floor. It always has to be on carpet or furniture. :sad2:

Ha ha ha! This is so true! Sometimes I can be on the other side of the house and hear that infamous pre-vomit noise and I come running and grab the cat as fast as I can and quickly get him to wood or tiled floor. ;)

Mine stand directly in front of the computer monitor.

They eat curly ribbon and tissue paper so we have to keep presents up high and out of reach. Every Christmas, I search for ribbon they won't eat. The expensive wire kind is safe...they don't care to chew, but they do like to lay on the present so the bow ends up smushed and the box is all dented with wrinkled paper.

But, I love them more than anything!!!!!!!!!!!!

I forgot to add that I have one cat who has a thing for straps on Crocs Maryjanes. I kid you not, it is a rule in our house that all Crocs Maryjanes must be put in closets on shelves with the doors closed immediately. I've called Crocs for replacement straps oh about, 4 times now!

He also chews bra straps in half and anything like that...spaghetti strapped tanks, swimsuit straps, shoelaces in men's dress shoes. It is imperative that all of those things must be put away immediately too or else!

my cat eats on everything...we can't keep paper in our printer because he pulls it out and chews holes in. He eats holes into any plastic bag he can find that we didn't hide well enough. He eats on our blinds, curtains and occcasionally books. He pulls the phone book out and eats it as well...He knows he's not supposed to because often he'll check to make sure we are looking when he goes to do it...:sad2: it's cute...but too destructive...we've tried all sorts of methods to get him to stop and frankly he just doesn't care...so we just have to hide things really really well.

i have 2 bengals, they are 12.romeo and boomer, romeo is sick and gets away with alot of bad habits..the number 1 thing that bothers me is he constantly wants to sit on my lap. the other annoyances are getting in the garbage, jumping on the counter and table and throwing up on the carpet especially since 90 % of my floors are wood. boomer the other cat bites people for no reason,he can be sitting there freindly and then all of the sudden - chomp.

My cat meows.... no, not meows.... yells and cries to be fed the SECOND we walk in the door at night. Se we feed him. He goes to it, takes a bite or two, then proceeds to yell and cry again for another 10 minutes. We don't know if hes thanking us, or telling us to give him something better that what we did.

Hes a great cat though, and has an amazing relationship with our DD3.

My youngest likes to trample me in the morning when he thinks its time to get up. I swear, he can hear my eyes open. If I try to go back to sleep, he tramples back and forth across me with all his might. He'll then turn and give me a look as if to say "Oh, are you awake?":)

I have seen dogs scratch their butts on the carpet, but I guess my cat found an easier way to do this rather than drag herself along the floor.

My livingroom furniture has arms that resemble playground slides. A good platform at the top and a nice wide angle to slide down. Oh, and it is covered with a woven fabric. My cat likes to use one of the chair arms to slide down. :confused3 Just awful, but smart. Glad I have an uphostery cleaner at home.
