My cat is 18, and I'm so happy to have her after last week's scare that I'll put up with pretty much anything. She had a kitty stroke, but made an
amazing recovery and you'd never know anything had happened by looking at her now.

But she did use up one of her nine lives. I think she's wasted three of them this year.....
The most annoying is her meowing, but it's so much MORE than meowing. It's more like HOWLING. She is attached to me like white on rice and when she wants me, she wants me NOW. She will howl/yowl and she can hold a note for an incredibly long time. I call her Kitty Streisand. It's like a long, almost neverending scream that does
briefly end....only to be followed by another and another. She was always a complainer and the older she gets, the more she complains.....Kind of like humans.
Yes, she barfs on the carpet. It probably wouldn't be so bad, but I had trained the cat we had before (she just passed away a few years ago) to barf
only on the tile.

I swear, that cat was a genius. When she was a baby and I heard a hairball coming, I'd pick her up and rush to get her on the tile. Soon, she learned that "barfing" meant "I need to run to the tile." Brainiac of a cat! Our present kitty is beautiful, but not chock full of brains. She just barfs wherever....And we were spoiled to the tile-only barfer.
She's a turd dropper. That is exactly what it sounds like. Poor kitty is constipated a lot and lives on Miralax.

Sometimes, she THINKS she is done pooping, because the poop is all the way "out." But it has not yet "disconnected," so to speak. So she walks out of the cat litter box and at some point, gravity will kick in and the turd will drop off in some random place.

Luckily, they are usually fairly dry, due to the constipation.

We keep LOTS of Lysol on hand. Lots.
Still, I hope Kitty hangs around for a long, long time.
