What's the lowest rate in Dec anyones gotten ?

What's the lowest rate (at any of the onsite hotels) anyone out there has gotten for early Dec. & when did you book ? We're looking to head out 12/17 - 12/23 & would like to have an idea what to expect. Thanks for any input !!!!

I am in the process of booking, but AAA RPR for 12/3-12.7 is 159.20. That is the cheapest I have seen at that time. There is also the stay and play where you stay 4 nights or more and get 2 adult theme park length of stay passes with each room at 199. I broke it down, and it almost comes to the same...so who knows?

Wow I was hoping for around $109 for RPR or $134 for HRH with the APH rate. Well, I'll keep my fingers crossed & keep checking regularly this website & the Universal site. Hopefully better rates come out !

We got $119 for RPH in early December, two years ago. I wouldn't categorize your dates as early December though. You may be looking at about $50 more per room since that is the week before Christmas.

Yeah, it's kind of a shame for me because when we went in 2003, we got that awesome ENT rate of 110 for RPR. Since those aren't available anymore, I went with AAA, and if better APH rates come out, then I will go with that. I hope that the APH rate will be 109 a night...but with how all the rates have seemed to increase...I am not going to get my hopes up. Here's for wishing though!

This past Dec we paid $129. APH at RPR (first weekend, 2nd - 5th). Last year they still posted the lower APH rates earlier in the year - this year it looks as if the lower rates are only being offered closer to check in dates depending on how booked they are. I would book the AAA rate of 159. and keep checking for the APH rate - that's what I had to do for October.

I was really hoping that the rates go lower than $159 for the RPR at least. We were planning to use the flex pay option for the AP's which is huge savings than having to pay $550 for tickets upfront (DH, me & just my DS turning 3 on 12/13/05 & we really want to give Disney a break this year since we went several times last year & spent a ton of money ! But the Universal AP discounts can't be beat 15-20 % off WOW !

So I did a little search & found this post about a deal last year that would sound perfect with the free parking & "get 4th Night FREE** when you stay 3 or more nights " & free drink coupons !!

I sure hope that something similar comes out & I'm keeping my fingers crossed
