What's the longest stay?

Coming from the UK we allways stay 14 nights but we once did 17 days at POR in 2002. It was still quiet then, think the FQ was closed then as well.
Dont know if this counts but we will be doing 14 nights on the Magic West Bound Transatlantic crossing followed by 5 days at SSR next year. :goodvibes

Great thread, our current longest stay is only 10 days (we typically do two 10day trips per year). We are trying to nestle away enough points to spend at least a month in Florida every winter once the kids are out of school.

I want details! What resort/resorts and what size accomodation? Did you switch up any or leave on weekends, etc.? A stay that long sounds wonderful!

3 weeks at BWV, the balance at OKW. 1 Bedrooms the entire time.:)

Wow! I am so jealous of all of you lucky people who get to go for so long! I get excited when I go or a week. I can only imagine how I would feel if I got to stay for over 20 days!!!

Our longest so far was 10 nights (SSR/VB). Our Nov trip will be almost two weeks between AKV, cruise and THV. We keep adding a night or two to stretch out the trips.

We stayed 15 nights at VWL in a 1 bed. Man it was nice! I truly began to realize how relaxing a vacation could be.

Back in January of 2001 we stayed 4 nights at ASM followed by 12 nights in a 1 bedroom at BWV. I remember the weather was on the cold side many of the days but it was sure a nice, relaxing vacation. We had a 15 night trip at BWV/OKW in 2003. Our last trip was this past November and we managed 10 nights at SSR/BWV. I hope the trips don't keep getting shorter......I'd love to do another 16+ night trip again.

In Oct 2007 we stayed 14 nights at SSR in a studio then last May we spent 15 nights at AKV in a studio :)

Claire ;)

Generally, we stay for 14 nights and usually in the same resort (usually BCV or AKV or VWL).

There have been on occasion where we spent 7 nights in on resort and then 7 nights in another. But this would not be our preference.

We've done a couple of 13 night stays (much too long for those hard OKW beds) but most of the time we stay for 3 to 6 nights.

In the year of 2008, we spent 73 nights on Disney property. This includes WDW, VB. DCL. and DL. These were all DVC resorts and the cruise line. We had 2 nights at the Grand Californian. The westbound Panama Canal Cruise was included in this. At WDW we stayed at SSR and AKV.

My longest stay was back in 1999 when I spent a week at the Contemporary Resort (for the Disneyana Convention) followed by a week at OKW. This, incidentally, encompassed the first time WDW shut down for a hurricane (don't remember his name. Floyd, maybe?)

My longest stay so far was 12 nights in a BCV 1 BR. It was wonderful, but nothing compared to some of the super long stays I'm seeing on this thread. You lucky people, you! :dance3:

16 nights split between a stay at the Grand Floridian & a 2-bedroom BWV, Boardwalk view - Christmas 2006. We might come close to that this year, too... depending on if we get another add-on in the near future... :rolleyes1

WOW!!! Lots of DVCers have the points to stay a month or longer. That's what I hope to have one day!!!!

My longest trip was before I owned DVC...7 days at my off site timeshare followed by 10 days at POP Century. Add a day to each end of the trip for driving. That was SUCH a fun trip!!!!

We did a twelve night stay in 2204, split between SSR and POR.

I had a three week stay planned for summer 2207, just me and the kiddos. Five nights at Vero Beach and then the rest at OKW.
Unfortunately Uncle Sam had different plans for us, a PCS move here to Ft. Knox.

I won't be able to recreate that trip until after DS graduates High School, which is a bummer. I really wanted to do it before he heads off out into the real world.
