What's the latest scoop on the Concourse Steakhouse?

Does anyone know a tentative date that they'll stop serving here? Just trying to plan some upcoming trips and we LOVE the Concourse (and will really, really miss it )

It is suppsot to close sometime in April 2008, however now there are reports the Contemporary just sent the permits to Orange County for the Waive restaurant to be built where the Food & Fun Center is and that construction down there has not started yet. So I think this puts them 6 months behind schedule and now the Concourse Steakhouse might be staying open a bit longer then expected.

We have April 11 dinner ADR there, and cast member did not know anything new - as a matter of fact, he didn't even know there was supposed to be a change coming.

I guess as of right now your ADR is still on and if the Concourse Steakhouse does close in April, I am sure WDW-Dinning would call you asking to choose another restaurant to replace the ADR.

As for the Cast Member not knowing anything they are never really given any info on restaurant closings. If their computers say the ADR can be booked then they go ahead and do it. So I don't blame them for not knowing anything about the eventual closing of the Concourse Steakhouse.

I wish that it would stay open al little longer. We are going in May and would love to eat there one last time.

I'm with you, Susan. I will really miss Concourse Steakhouse too! We have ADRs there twice for our upcoming trip, to make the most of it while it's still open.

Hopefully, the Concourse Steak House will remain as is. We've always had a great meal there and we're planning on dining there again in 4 weeks. The Concourse Steak House is one of Disney's true hidden gems.

I felt that way at 1st when I heard the news, but I am sure once you get over it you will feel better and just accept what is going to eventually happen.

We have ADR's for March 5th. I hate that its closing, everyone loves it.
