in Magic Kingdom??

Haven't heard anything in a while.

It is open. You probably haven't heard anything, because it is really nothing. There isn't much to it---cute pic oportunity in front of "Pooh's Door", but there isn't much for the kids to do. Alittle water, a little climbing, and 1 slide (I think).

My DS enjoyed it! It is cute. It kind of rivals (to me) the play area in Toon Town. :cheer2:

it's only meant for wee ones......i think the sign said under 5 years of age...
when we were at the MK in september, my daughter and i walked around it...
it's adorable....i think if i were 3 years old, i would love it...it's just a little tiny playground and i don't know how it would be during peak times, but when we were there the kids looked like they were having a lovely time...

It opened around the first of September. It is a nice place for kids to run off some energy and hopefully will thin out the playground in Toon Town. There may not be much to do but from what we could see, the kids there love to just run around and jump on everything.

We visited in September just after it opened and my 2 year old loved it. It was miniaturized for the 5 and under crowd. It is however much smaller than you think it would be.

Oh my dd, 2 is in LOVE with Pooh. She has an extra large one she sleeps with every night. Cant wait for her to see the 100 acre woods!!

It's ok. I wasn't impressed. My 5, almost 6 year old tried it in September before her 6th birthday Oct 8. Now she can't go back. :(

I think it's a waste of space actually. Just an honest opinion. I think there's already the water area in Ariel's grotto and then there's Donald Duck's boat and the little playground across from it. I think the area across from the Pooh ride could have been saved for some amazing ride.

Oh well, at least the little ones have a cute place of their own. I just hope parents of children 6 year olds and older keep them out and follow the rules.

we used it as a rest stop a few weeks ago, gave us chance to sit and plan what to do next. :)

for little little ones (mine is 15 months) it is great. a nice break and a chance for them to be out of the stroller and blow off some steam.

one word of warning (ok - so not just one word - a lot of them!).....the CM's are kind of crabby about the water area though. the kids MUST keep their clothes on. not cool if you didn't bring an extra outfit or if you don't want to drag around a wet set of clothes all day. they are kind of gender biased too(or at least the CM that i ran into was). i had my very small 15 month old daughter in a girl swimmie diaper (happened to still have one in the diaper bag from the day before at the water park) in the water area and there was also a toddler boy there in a boy swimmie diaper. (along with many other children - some in regular clothes getting soaked, some in regular clothes with their parents getting stressed because they didn't want them getting soaked and some with the forthought to bring a baithing suit) the CM approached me (crabby already) and told me i would have to cover up my daugher. I did. While doing so i kept an eye out to see if the CM approached the parent of the boy doing the same thing and she had not, so i asked her about it (not snotty yet). She said that because he was a boy, it was ok for him to be running around with his top off, but it was not ok for my child because she was a girl. I questioned this - at such a young age this seemed silly. I asked if this was Disney protocol or just her opinion. (kind of snotty at that point) Her reply was that it is just not right, but the rules do state that they are to remain clothed. i didn't see such a rule posted, but i didn't look to hard at that point either. point being - they were randomly enforcing it if it was there and even if i had seen it, i would have assumed it implied that they could not be naked.) Needless to say i got no where with this very old, crabby, "set in their ways and reflecting them on everyone else" person and moved my then fully dressed daugher to the dry side of the playground.
If she was older (a mature 2 or 3 or at the very least 4) i would never think of having my daugher run around in just a diaper. (i even posted a question on the boards a few months ago while planning my trip to see if the gereral public would find that offensive and most if not everyone replied that for such a small toddler, that was silly.)

anyway - poohs play area, cute as heck, great photo op, great for very young ones - just keep them fully clothed and bring a spare outfit and a ziplock for all the wet stuff.
