What's the Duct tape for?

I was just reading a suggested packing list and I saw Duct Tape listed. Just wondering what do you use it for?

We've used it for several things! My dd's dress hem came undone so we used it as a hemming tape, we've used it to keep curtains shut, (use it to cover hubby's nose and mouth while snoring at night JUST KIDDING) we've used it once because we forgot clothespins so we duct taped the strap of my suit to the clothesline and then carefully removed it when dry (and surprisingly it worked well) we've even had to use it when our zipper on one of our bags broke..we actually duct taped the thing shut (this was pre 9-11) and the tape stayed intact through both flights home. Duct tape is amazingly useful! LOL

*edited to add...once I forgot my strapless bra for my formal dress so I fashioned a bra out of it as well! LOL

Just like my dad always says...if duct tape and WD-40 don't fix it...call a professional!!!!

Roemama---ROFLMAO!!! That's the motto at our house too..if duct tape, wd40 or kicking it doesnt fix it...well then you need a professional! LOL

I'm telling you my dad has every color there is. It's like this big joke. He was deployed with the National Guard in Iraq for a month and had a duffle bag JUST FOR HIS DUCT TAPE!!!!

LOL I think that would be our house too! Between WD-40 cans (I think we have 20) rolls of duct tape or electrical tape (I think we have at least 35-50) we are a walking MacGyver house!

Too funny about your dad and the duffle bag! Now for ME that would be needed for my shoes! ROFL

I wish I would have brought my duct tape on my last trip. When the closet doors come open the light in the closet comes on too. It drove me crazy. I could not get the doors to stay shut!! I will make sure I have my tape on the next cruise.
