What's the difference??

Can someone tell me the difference between the value and the standard rooms at Kadani? I thought it would be on here already, but I can't find a thread. We have a savannah view for April, but to save points in the future would consider the standard or value. Thanks

Standard rooms at Jambo house will all have a pool view and at Kidani they will either be pool or parking lot view. Value rooms are only at Jambo, and they are significantly smaller than the other rooms, thus the "value" rating. They can, however, be either pool, parking or savanna view.

Thank you, I did not realize that Kadani did not have the value rooms. About how much smaller are they? Can you request a value room with a savannah view?

My understanding is they are 3 feet shorter in depth, and value one bedrooms units do not have the additional sleep chair, so they are firm on "sleeps 4" where the other one bedroom units will sleep 5.

I do not know if they allow view requests for the value rooms, but either way, like all "requests" it would not be guaranteed.

Studio: Value 316 sq ft, all others in Jambo House 365 sq ft, all in Kidani Village 366
1 bedroom: Value 629 sq ft, all others in Jambo House 710 sq ft, all in Kidani Village 807 sq ft
2 bedroom: Value 945 sq ft, all others in Jambo House 1075 sq ft, all in Kidani Village 1173 sq ft
Grand Villa: Jambo House 2349 sq ft (one floor), Kidani Village 2201 (two story)

O.K. SORRY!!! One more "rookie" question. Since we purchased at Kadani Village, can we use our 11 month widow to book Jambo house or is it 2 different "resorts" even though they are both Animal Kingdom Lodge?

They are one resort for all practical purposes, including the booking window.
