Whats the deal about the Free Dining Plan

I have been hearing/reading a lot about this free dining package that everyone seems to be going down for...can anyone get me up to speed with what this is all about...thanks...

It was an offered that expired 7/4 that if you traveled to disney and stayed on site between 8/21 and 9/something, you got the dining plan for free. I believe it was by booking rack rates.


I know there are a lot of little rules details left out, but that is basically it. I'm glad we were able to get in on it, I would really be bummed to be going then and to not have haeard about it.
