The best thing I've had(so far)at Disney World is probably their ice cream. I know it isn't good for you, but I can't resist!!!popcorn::

I love it because...well...I just love ice cream! I just get the ice cream on Main Street at the ice cream parlor.

All you have to do is state what food you like, and where you get it. Bon appetite! Yes, appetite!

Cheese Soup at Le Cellier, Epcot.

Corriander Chicken Wing appetizers at 'Ohana's at-the-table buffet dinner.

I've never been impressed with food at Disney World...until last night. Previously, the best meal I had was at Artist Point in Wilderness Lodge from Christmas dinner a couple of years ago. It was a fine meal, but I thought very over-priced for what was delivered.

Last night, I had dinner at Flying Fish Cafe on the Boardwalk with a friend. Had a very good pork tenderloin, grilled asparagus & au gratin potatoes with a nice cabernet - definitely the best meal I've had on property. Nice interior, friendly staff. I enjoyed it very much.

This is going to sound lame, but the entree I have most enjoyed at WDW was a New York strip steak at Tony's in MK. I know... I know... it took me by surprise too. :goodvibes

I must give a shout out to Mickey bars too. I try to have one pretty much every day in the parks.

One thing that was super good was the Salmon topped custom salad at the Intermission food court at All Star Music resort. Another one was the Napoleon at the French bakery (Boulangerie Patisserie) in Epcot.

Mickey Bars need no mention...they speak for themselves. :rotfl:

The same goes for Dole Whip Floats.

I'll comment on counter service food if I might. Usually everything is pretty much either Chicken fingers or cheeseburgers. I have vowed every time I have been to not eat at the Commissary in DHS ever again. The food has either been tasteless or foul tasting and cold. Then, I always find myself in front of the place at lunch time and I am usually hungry.

So last week there I was again. This time I ordered, if I remember the name correctly, the Asian Salad. It was awesome. OK, not 5 star but for counter food it was very good.

I have eaten at a few of the "big" restaurants and was never very impressed. It was OK but I have had better elsewhere and certainly not worth the price.

Toss up between Carrot Cake Cookie sandwich at Writers Stop, or Cinnamon bun from Main Street Bakery.......oh and the banana bread pudding at Tusker House breakfast......yes, I have a sweet tooth!!!!

Toss up between the Scotch Egg at Rose and Crown and Potato Bacon Chedder Soup at Sunshine Gardens.

But I"ve done mostly CS so I'm probably missing a whole lot of really good stuff. :rotfl:

My current favorite are the banana glacier slushies at Goofy's Candy Company at DTD. It's the ONLY place on property I can find a banana-flavored slushie (although Rockettower Plaza in Tomorrowland had them for a short time sometime this past year).

Corn dog nuggets, or as we refer to them now: corn puppies :)

Never had those before going to WDW!! Never even heard of them. But they are soooo on the menu when we go back in januari :worship:

the braised short ribs at Jiko were by far the best thing i've ever eaten at disney.

Does F&W stuff count? If so there's a couple of things from there like the corn polenta from the spicy sausage dish from Canada, apple strudel from the germany booth, etc.

Year round? tough one... the filet mignon from Le Cellier and the creme brulee from there as well. The cheese soup is great also.

gotta love the Dole whip as well!

But one meal I always have to get (although it was closed this year :sad1: ) is the Tonosama platter from the Japan QS restaurant. That beef is sooo good as well as the teryaki chicken, rice and shirmp tempura.

I love the huge fudge cookie that you can personalized at Goofy's Candy Co.

School Bread!! :worship: Love that stuff and can't wait to get one next month.

Although my favorite all time Orlando park snack is Butterbeer!! ;) Talk about heaven in a cup (frozen version of course).

Let's see... for me it was the veggie tacos from La Hacienda, and the cupcake brownie from Babycakes!!! :lovestruc

BOTH are on the menu for next trip!!
