What's the best Secret/Hidden snack at WDW?

So I just watched the Best Snacks podcast the DIS team did for Disneyland a few days ago and was completely shocked that they did not have my all-time favorite snack on the list. It is the Cheddar Garlic Bagel Twists at Maurice's Treats over by the Fantasy Faire Princess Theater.

It's kind of tucked away, and you can't buy this snack anywhere else. It made me wonder if even the guys from the WDW team even know about it?!?

We are heading to WDW in a month and I want to know: What's your favorite snack that's unique and tucked away or that most people might not know about?

That looks delicious! One more snack to add to my list when we visit DL in June. Thank you. :)

Dill pickle from Liberty Square Marketplace!!! They are really cold and crisp and so yummy on a hot day! I think they are overlooked because everyone sees the Marketplace and thinks "Oh. Fruit." as they pass it by on their way to the next attraction.
Most of our family is on a Ketogenic diet (high fat, moderate protein, low carb), and so I'm super happy to hear about the pickles!!! Also, for anyone, pickles are a great way to replenish electrolytes.

OMG @Traver Freeman this is the best best best thread! I didnt even know about Maurices and the rum dole whip plus lillikoi slushies makes me want to go to AK right now. Thanks for starting the thread, sadly, I have no secret snacks to share but I hope other have more...

My favorites are the Carrot Cake Cookie at HS and the Dole Whip/Vanilla Swirl at Poly. The latter is vastly superior to the standard Dole whip.

We also like to recreate the old pulled pork and slaw waffle fries that Golden Oak Outpost had once upon a time at MK. On our way to Frontierland, we stop in at Casey's and just order a side of pulled pork and a side of slaw. Then we order waffle fries at Golden Oak Outpost, and you have those delicious pulled pork waffle fries they got rid of a while back.

I had no idea you could order the pork or slaw as a side! I don't eat hot dogs but my fam loves Casey's. I will have to try the "sides" next trip!!

Hey no problem. Lol. Glad you can get some ideas too. I just really want some awesome snacks for our trip in 3 weeks!! I can eat ice cream at home, might as well get something unique at Disney!

We will have to try this. My wife love's Dole Whips (they're okay to me). I will make sure she gets a Poly Dole Whip

Not quite a snack, but I love WDW's Mac and Cheese and you can get it Friar's Nook. You can get it plain or loaded with pot roast, BBQ chicken, bread crumbs or plain (have to ask). They LOAD it up with meat and noodles, it is great.

Now if only I could find somewhere to get a la carte cornbread in the parks.

I saw a documentary on the making of the Mac and Cheese. I think it might have been the Unwrapped WDW episode. It showed kids taste testing like 10 different types of their mac and cheese to perfect the right flavor that most kids like.

We had Mac and Cheese at the F&W in DCA last year. It was really good, but a bit pricey for a small bowl of Mac & Cheese. The BBQ Chicken and bread crumbs sounds pretty good with it though.

Karamell-Kuche at Epcot in Germany has a Caramel & Chocolate Dipped Pineapple using Werther’s Caramel. It is cold, juicy, sweet and salty. Amazing on a hot day.
Is this cold but soft, or is it frozen? It sounds amazing, but I can't do the frozen chocolate covered banana due to my ridiculously cold-sensitive teeth.

Thank you! My 6 yr old DD and 1.5 yr old DD are OBSESSED with pickles and this will be a great deterrent from ALWAYS getting them ice cream. (They will get some of that too, but pickles will be a nice alternative!)

My DD 12 is one of those kids that just like to snack all the time but does not gain weight, we bought a souvenir popcorn bucket for $10 our fist day in the parks and you can use that bucket for your entire stay at all the parks and refill it for $1.50, best $10 ever spent, yes we still did the ice cream and other snack but did not get nearly as many, I just undid the handle and clipped it to my back pack all week.

As I understand it, it can actually be used across trips, assuming the bucket hasn't changed designs. The popcorn cart CM told us this in March, but I'm not sure if this is an official thing or not. We'll definitely be trying to use the same bucket for our May trip, though!

Pulled pork Mac and Cheese, at AK near Mickey and Minnie meeting on way to Asia.

It's just cool, (refrigerated) but I know what you mean I can't do frozen bananas either.
