What's the best Secret/Hidden snack at WDW?

Is this cold but soft, or is it frozen? It sounds amazing, but I can't do the frozen chocolate covered banana due to my ridiculously cold-sensitive teeth.
Don't need sensitive teeth to not like solid-as-a-rock frozen. I feel like every time I get a Mickey Bar I have to walk around with it for 10 minutes while I wait for it to thaw or I'll break my teeth eating it.

My DD 12 is one of those kids that just like to snack all the time but does not gain weight, we bought a souvenir popcorn bucket for $10 our fist day in the parks and you can use that bucket for your entire stay at all the parks and refill it for $1.50, best $10 ever spent, yes we still did the ice cream and other snack but did not get nearly as many, I just undid the handle and clipped it to my back pack all week.

Thanks, great idea! We will have a stroller for the toddler so I can just toss the bucket underneath when we aren't using it.

I saw a documentary on the making of the Mac and Cheese. I think it might have been the Unwrapped WDW episode. It showed kids taste testing like 10 different types of their mac and cheese to perfect the right flavor that most kids like.

We had Mac and Cheese at the F&W in DCA last year. It was really good, but a bit pricey for a small bowl of Mac & Cheese. The BBQ Chicken and bread crumbs sounds pretty good with it though.

The servings at Frair's Nook are huge, you can definitely eat it for a whole meal.

I really wish I knew their current recipe. I have some of the old cookbooks that has an old recipe in them that includes mustard, which does not taste like the parks. If you make it without the mustard it is close, but not quite there.

We loooove the double chocolate chip ice cream sandwich at Tamu Tamu in AK. The regular ice cream sandwiches around WDW are awesome, but this one is insanely amazing. Rich chewy cookies that are basically like brownies with vanilla ice cream. HUGE and totally shareable for about $5! Probably the one thing I'm looking forward most to having again on our upcoming May trip! :)

I've always wanted to try Friar's Nook, my hubby would love the pot roast mac and cheese, but sadly it seems to have disappeared from the menu

We were just there on March 16 and had regular mac and cheese, Pot Roast mac and cheese:love: and BBQ Chicken mac and cheese, it was wonderful, we used it for dinner that night.

Hmm! thanks, good to know. Funny how it is no longer on the WDW menu

MK: Fruit and nutella waffle from Sleepy Hollow

EPCOT: Macaroon or brioche ice cream sandwich from glacerie in france, Nachos, margaritas from La Cava and churros in Mexico, caramel popcorn at Werther's, anything in Norway or Les Halles lol...

HS: ehh anything from Starring Rolls or carrot cake cookie from Writer's stop but now not sure since closures. PB& J milkshake from Prime Time (you don't have to eat there order one to go from the bar).

Animal Kingdom: African Milk tart in Harambe (if they still have it) The chicken skewer or sausage in Harambe Market

The Boardwalk: Sally sells seashells ice cream at Ample Hills. It's a flavor only made for Disney. I can't even get it here at the flagship store in NYC.

This is how my kids are, but they HAVE to snack all the time or they get super cranky. Surviving a day of walking (burning calories) at Disney means a constant intake. This thread is helping a lot! And I cannot wait to buy a popcorn bucket for my crew. We might refill it twice a day.

I have no idea where to get my all time fav anymore (carrot cake cookie - used to be Writers Stop at HS) so my new fav is the Dole Whip with Rum. LOL

I can confirm that the pot roast mac and cheese is off the menu as of 4/18. I was super bummed when I went up looking for it. I did get the barbecue chicken mac and cheese which was an ok replacement, but it wasn't the same. :(

Yes! It's in a building on Sunset Blvd.

Yep! I had one Monday from there! Yum!

I'm hoping to find an amazing cupcake before we are done Friday. All of the cupcake articles I find are older and maybe out of date :/ We went looking for a specific one today and didn't find it.
