What's The Best Price You Received In Concierge?

I'm doing some checking around, and was wondering what was the best price any of you received in concierge? What resort was it at, and did you use a code, AP, Florida Resident, whatever?

Any info appreciated!!

$248.00 a night including tax.. AKL Concierge Special for Canadian Residents.

The best rate we have gotten was this past Feb 2003 with an AP rate at the AKL Concierge $277 a night inc tax during value season.

We just got the same price as above($277 including tax) for next month in regular season for AKL. I am thinking that is not only a good price but for how awesome their concierge level is it is a very good value for what we are spending. This was the AP rate.

November 2002 at the YC. We paid $289/night for concierge waterview deluxe room. Best room I have ever had and now YC is our favorite. They couldn't offer that this year but we got the CSR for $89/night and that is a great rate. Problem is once you go concierge, it's hard to go back to a regular ol room....BUT, I will force myself I guess. Anytime at DW is a great time for us!

$229 (+tax) for Polynesian Garden View Concierge in Dec 2001. Booked myself throgh CRO using AP rate. (Using a TA does not in itself affect the rate.)

We got Contemporary Tower Club for 266 (tax included), and the Yacht Club Concierge garden view for 279 (tax included) in August 2001. I found out about these great rates right here on the resort boards and also through Mousesavers, then armed with this information called WDW directly to book.

I keep an eye on these boards and www.mousesavers.com and then call CRO directly.

I see you went on the Magic 7 day cruise. We are planning for a special trip in 2005, and we're thinking either concierge in WDW or a 7 day cruise. (DH doesn't want to do the 4/3 split). How would you compare the two, and which would you recommend?

WL Concierge, Oct 13-18 for $277.00/night. Stayed at the Boardwalk Inn Concierge in January and had a rate of $300.00/night. These rates were gotten with an AP pass.

I agree with your husband the split didn't work well for us. This was our 4th DCL cruise. Our first was when they only had 3 or 4 day cruises. We took the 4 day the first time and even though it was great we said we probably wouldn't do it again because it was too short. The next year they came out with the seven day cruise and it solved our problem.

I love both the cruise and wdw so we try to get in a week of each. Next year I'll probably only do one and we have chosen the cruise. The cruise is so relaxing and so much fun. I myself would be happy just to cruise around for 7 days and not get off the ship. This year we did the Western and it was too many ports. We are going on the Western next year because of scheduling problems with my sons senior year of high school if I could have arranged it we would have been on the Eastern.

So my answer is I love them both for different reasons. I guess you could flip a coin.

Thanks for the information! Turns out if we do the cruise in 2005, it'll be my DD HS graduation too, so we'll have to see how that works out. The big decision is between concierge at WDW or a 7 day cruise. We can't swing both unfortunately. It'll be our 25th Anniverary, and I'm trying to gather information early.

Those of you who stayed in concierge, which do you recommend as the best? We stayed in YC concierge one year, and it was great, but I was wondering if there are any that are even better!!

I stayed at the Yacht Club concierge last year and it was very nice. My preference is the Polynesian Concierge because I love being close to the Magic Kingdom. I guess it would be your preference as to what you want to be close too. Since it is your 25th anniversary maybe you should stay at the Grand Floridian it is very romantic.

Yes, DH is interested in the GF concierge. Somewhere he read that the main concierge is better than Sugarloaf. It is a romantic resort, but the YC is still our favorite, so we might split the stay.

Can anyone give their opinions about the GF concierge?

The best rate that I've gotton was 2001. AKL for 265.29 including tax.
It was AMAZING!!!!!

And we did the Sunrise Safari, which was FANTASTIC!!
