I think my nephew would enjoy this. He's 13 but looks 16 and I'm concerned that he might feel awkward if everyone else doing it is very young.

TIA

DS is 9 and loves it but honestly we see more adults young adults playing. Little kids get frustrated when they can't get all the cards etc to line up. your 13 year old will like it Im sure!

Go defeat those villains!

Our group of three (54, 54, 22) did it in March. No one else even paid attention to us - your nephew will enjoy it.

My DD 10 and I (45) love playing together. It really is fun for all ages.

Seen all ages and groups playing it. In fact, seen more teenage/adult groups than younger children playing it. There's a frustration / aren't we done yet factor with the young children who can't understand that an entire game (not just a specific land's villain) can take hours to beat.

It seemed like there were more adults playing than young children and many adult players were using binders filled with the SOTMK cards.

All ages. He shouldn't feel too old. There will be plenty much older.

We saw lots of teens and adults playing. He's not going to feel awkward.

My 13 year old DS loved this! I let him run around the park by himself because I got sick of following after him!

Agree with PP's. We often wait behind groups of adults (with no kids) at the portals. I think your nephew will enjoy it! :-)

My friends and I are in our 30s. We all enjoy playing it and have a nice collection of cards going. I see as many adults playing as I see kids, sometimes more.

We are a party of 9 ranging in age from 3-64 and we are all looking forward to playing...everyone is a child at WDW. We are curious to see what the SE card is for our MVMCP

I've played it all the way through (it took a couple days) and I'm 44. :) I didn't feel at all awkward - there were plenty of other adults playing, too. Some of whom seemed to be taking the game very seriously!

Yeah, it's something little kids tire of quickly, but older kids and adults seem to "get" what's going on. There are plenty of "hardcore" players too with binders full of cards. No need for your nephew to feel self conscious. Besides, he'll be at Disney World, a great place to always be a kid!
