Well, I don't play it but I've always called it ice hockey, mainly to distinguish it from other forms of hockey (like field hockey, for instance).

Real wrestling or WWE wrestling? Because those are 2 very different things. Real wrestling is actually pretty cool to watch tho it is probably largely dependant on if you know someone who wrestles. I'd have never thought I'd like it until my kids started wrestling. It's honestly hard to watch sometimes when it's your kid, but having learned more about it and getting my coaching card, I realize how complicated it can be and it's kind of like a violent ballet. It takes an incredible amount of work and strength to get good at it.

That's true, I am not Canadian. Dual American and German here. I did however grow up in Detroit which is a big ice hockey town and I still call it that. Just always have.

I think so, especially to distinguish it from soccer as it's called Football in every other country. Sometimes I will refer to American football as gridiron football (as there are other types of football). Maybe I'm just formal or pedantic.

Traveling for work. I used to romanticize it in my head when I was working retail and waiting tables in high school… then I got an adult job while still in college… and had to travel. A lot. The next 15 years I traveled for work and had to attend all the functions. I am now enjoying a second career and don’t have to travel anywhere near as much. Bonus: I work from home. Complete 180 from how I imagined my career. Oh young, 20 year old me…
