Whats Pirate night about, etc?

My family went on the Land(4 night) and Sea(3 night) last May. So I understand most things but I have been reading about the new Pirate Night?
What is the Pirate night about besides the dinner theme? and what do others mean when they are asking about having it twice? Would like to fully understand this?
This year we are going on the Land(3 night) and Sea (4 night). So what dinner rotation should I hope for? We are dinning at 6:00 (main) if that helps any to answer my questions

DCL has changed what use to be the Tropical Deck Party into a new Pirate's Deck Party! The fun gets started at dinner with the CM's dressed up and menus on treasure maps and bandanas to wear. The deck party starts around 10:00ish? and from what I've read, Captain hook and his band of scurvy pirates arrive to crash the party and take over the ship. There will be dancing, music, and lots of fun. I'm sure Captain Mickey will arrive to save the day. Some cruisers are taking costumes and dressing for dinner and the deck party making it an entire night of pirate's fun! The rotations have apparently changed to where your first and second night are in the same restaurant then you rotate to the other two. Of course the dinner and party are held on your second night which is in Nassau and it seems the consensus is that PPTA is the preferred rotation due to tropical themeing but I'm sure it will be FUN nomatter what rotation you end up with. "Savvy?"
