What's our schedule ?

Hi! I check in Aug. 12th which is a Wednesday. Does anyone know what the rest of the weeks schedule would be like because my friends and family are coming down to see me off and are leaving that Sunday. We are trying to schedule dinner times and maybe park times together and I'm curious about that first half week schedule. Thanks!!!!!!!

Day 1 (Wed)- check in at Vista. Get your apartment, get the housing ID, find out work locations, fingerprinting, paperwork, housing meeting (I believe).

Day 2 (Thurs)- it used to be the day where you got your work location. Now I'm not sure what happens here. The housing meeting may be here instead (and maybe still signing up for classes, if you are taking any)

Day 3 (Fri)- Traditions (where you also get your work ID, aka ticket for the parks). There are 2 sessions- a morning (around 8am) and an afternoon (around 1pm).

Then training starts around Day 4-5 (Sat-Sun).

Your first week is very busy. Between checking in, meeting your roommates, getting your room set up, attending traditions class, signing a mountain of paperwork and getting ready for training, you're going to be swamped. I highly recommend that your friends and family enjoy time with you before you check in for your program. That way, they can see you off and head home while you get ready for your program. This is what I did, and it worked perfectly. We got a hotel nearby and I was even able to pick up my ID badge early so that I could get into the parks for free. Just contact the CP office on how to pick up your badge early.
