Have no real plans for any concerts this summer, although I would love to see Bon Jovi.

How about anyone else?

I saw Pearl Jam...not planning on much more...maybe Celtic Women.

Dave Matthews Band will be in Nashville in mid August. Paul Simon will be in Atlanta in mid July. Ryan Adams will be in Atlanta in late July. Dave Matthews Band (again) in Atlanta in mid August. I might go for those concerts. I prefer going to Atlanta over Nashville any day.

I saw They Might Be Giants in mid May here in Knoxville. The Knoxville-area concert scene leaves much to be desired (in my opinion). We only get the big-name country acts (I'm not a huge fan of country music) - rock/pop headliners are few and far between. Which is weird, we're a big college town. The last I remember was a free Ben Folds concert on Frat Row on the Univ. of Tenn. campus about a month ago.

We're going to see the American Idols tour when they come to Richmond next month. :bounce: :bounce:

Dixie Chicks on 7/23 and CSNY in August. I'm just starting to peruse the concert schedules, who knows what else I might get into.

We've got Bon Jovi in July for my birthday. That's the only one we have planned. We don't go to many unless one of us wins tickets on the radio - which usually happens to me about once a year.

I saw Pearl Jam a few weeks ago. I'd like to see the Gipsy Kings, but the closest spot they'll be is Chicago and the tickets are outrageous, so it's not looking affordable. I see maybe one concert a year. Spending that kind of money just seems crazy to me now (in my advanced years!).
I need more money for my Disney addiction anyway. :smooth:

Tim Mcgraw and Faith Hill on July 6th in Shreveport, LA.

Penny :cool1:

Hmmm--lets see....

I have coming up:

Hot Stove--Cool Music at Fenway Park (charity event run by the Red Sox General Manager)

Dave Matthews at Fenway Park
Better than Ezra
Guster--local Boston Band
Jimmy Buffett

I was going to go to the free Sting concert Sunday night, but public transportation ends around 10:30 for last route and I was not about to take the chance of getting caught downtown again. Always wanted to see Sting. :guilty:

The Boston Pops with Rockapella at Ravinia!

That's our whole summer concert schedule, but I'm excited as all get out!

One of my favorite groups Lonestar will be here this Sunday!! Can't wait to see them!!

We got tix last week for Motley Crue in September. :cheer2:

DH is also going to see Roger Waters this summer, but I think that's in August. I'm not into the whole Pink Floyd thing. He's going with a friend.

We're going to see Kenny Chesney on July 22nd in Dallas. Other than that, we've got nothing planned at the moment. :)

We just saw Tim and Faith on Sunday night and they were wonderful!!!

Next up is Kenny Chesney in July. :cool1:

Jimmy Buffett in Vegas October 21st

nothing else
