Seriously thinking of booking this for my upcoming cruise and was just curious. TIA

The brunch was fantastic. Although I'm sure that you wil be able to get a more complete list elsewhere here are a few things I remember:

Crab Legs
Shrimp
Salad
Pasta Salads
Great Selection of breads including stollen and jam

Your choice of one of four or five entrees ( yet if you want more than one just ask). I won't remember them all I had a great sirloin, much better than the one in the dining room the night before, and that one was good too, eggs benedict, a whitefish, and Palo's Pizza! That was the best, super thin crust. There is also a dessert pizza that we did not get to try.

Full dessert selection including fresh fruit, and berries with whipped cream. I of course skipped all of that in favor of something chocolate.

I have already decided to do the brunch again on our next cruise, the question is do we do dinner too? Enjoy!

Stollen bread with berries and whipped cream was the most AMAZING tasting thing in the world. I am not exaggerating, either. The whitefish was yummy too. My mouth is watering, I'd better go.

everything you can imagine! We were lucky enough to enjoy both brunch and dinner at Palo's on our 4/4 cruise. I can honestly say both were amazing, but if I had to pick....it would have to be the brunch!

Mickeyboat, you said it!:Pinkbounc

I was just about to say the same thing.

The stollen (well, lots of other reasons too) is one thing that got me to rebook the cruise for this year! YUM!

Yes, book the Palo brunch!:D

Brunch is served on sea days on the 7 day trips. They are so helpful too. When they asked us what we wanted to order for our entree (after sampling the buffet items), we didn't want a regular amount, so they gave us two smaller portions instead.

I recall they had crab claws as well as the legs, (and these are the king crab legs, NOT the skinny little alaskan legs). There was also a smoked trout that was the best smoked fish I've ever had. There were things like Fennel salad, different flavored olives, many cheeses and breads. There was a flatbread made with saffron that came with a garlic spread cheese that was out of this world. We had the pizza as well, I had the pasta (fabulous) and my sweetie had the tenderloin (I think). We too, had the stollen w/berries and whipped cream, but were not impressed with it at all. Just tasted like bread with berries and whipped cream. I guess nothing compares to my homemade stollen recipe handed down from my croation grandma! Now theres heaven.
Anyway, we both ate a tremendous amount and never even got to the dessert table. I did though have a cocktail of some sort that was a traditional Italian breakfast cocktail that was made with homemade peach juice and champagne and something else. EXCELLENT. Well worth the $8.00 or whatever is cost.

I would definitely do it again!

Mrsfuzzmo -

Would you share your grandmother's stollen bread recipe? I am not much of a cook but I would love to try to make it.

One of the "strangest" items they had was lemon merangue pie. The first time we did brunch, our server recommended it. I thought he was joking:jester: But I tried it anyway and it's no joke. It's not like any other lemon merangue I have ever had. I've had it every time I've gone to Palo brunch.

The brunch is Fantastic!!!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

The whipped cream was incredible...
My DD is addicted to whip cream so he snug us a big bowl to take to her. She thought she died and went to heaven.

The other crabs are called stone crabs...very sweet and yummy.

The brunch is incredible!! Worth the cruise!!

You are making my mouth water! Do they do brunch on the 4 night cruise? When do we make reservations for this? Not leaving for a year, but I'm learning all kinds of stuff on these boards. Thanks for all the info!

Yes, Mrsfuzzmo, will you please share you stollen recipe?

I've never been able to do any recipe as good as Disney does, but I'd probably come close if I had a decent stollen recipe.

My husband said it was the most incredible tallapia he has ever had.

Brunch was just wonderful, but way too much food for that time of day! However - the cappuccinno mousses were just the best things I had all week! The Lemon Meringue Pie was disappointing though: mine are much better! Will have to send recipe to PALO! Oh to be there now! Nat:Pinkbounc

natdencro, if you're sending your lemon meringue pie recipe to Palo, make two copies and send me one too.:sunny:

Is the champagne included? :drinking1: I'm guessing it's not. :sad1:
