Husband is complaining about price....tell me something good about the dinner buffet (character dinner) that I can tell him so that he will be happy!

Hi :) If you go to AllEarsNet.com, you can easily find the menu for that restaurant and all the other restaurants at WDW.

The only thing I can remember on the buffet is the strawberry soup! I had 2 bowls because it was so darn yummy!!!!!

There were several salad and side veggie dishes. There was a pasta and shrimp thing (I don't eat seafood so I don't know how it was). There was a chef making a pasta dish with veggies off to one side. I had the prime rib ...mmm it was good. My son had the salmon and he said it was "heavenly delicious" I can't remember what veggies and salads I tried but I didn't eat anything that I didn't like. The strawberry soup...mmmm it was great. They also had a nice dessert buffet with lots of mini desserts. We really enjoyed it and where else can you see Prince Charming?

This menu looks beautiful! We are going in October and we've never eaten at the castle so I figured that would be our first princess meal choice but the food here is looking so yummy. Have DS8 and DD3- can/should we do both?

DD and I are having dinner there tonight... I am eating very lightly today, so I can indulge! We enjoyed the breakfast buffet when we went for DDs birthday earlier in the month!

I'm stealing Prince Charming from Cinderella tonight...;)

I just knew this was the place to get answers! That menu looks fabulous! Can't wait now. I am definitely going to try the Strawberry Soup! We went one time to the Greenbriar Resort and they had cold Peach Soup, and boy was that heaven. I bet the Strawberry Soup is just as fantastic! May 10 can't get here soon enough for me!!!!!

I really liked the fresh cooked pasta. One was linguini with asparagus and shrimp in an alfredo sauce. Yummy! Also, another fav was a cold broccoli and bacon salad with some kind of dressing, different, but really good.

My kids liked the uncrustable pb & j's, what a waste of money!

Everything at this restaurant is just alittle more special. They have REAL scones--just like at Palo on the Magic, and just like my real recipe from England. They are just sitting out with the normal breads and rolls, so if you didn't know what they are, you might skip them. The desserts are great. The cookies are wonderful. Everything is really good, as is the atmosphere. If you have a DD who is into the American Girl dolls, they will flip as the setting is "Samantha's time, and the girls will recognize that from the AG books, etc. Enjoy whatever is going on in the lobby of the GF while you are there.
