What's new since September of 2015?

Anything besides Frozen Ever After and Rivers of Light? I thought I read something about Pixar but can't find it now (a movie maybe?) but that might have been limited time only. I know Princess Elena is there now. I've read through the FP stuff, and the only thing I think that's new is that you can book your fourth through your phone now, instead of kiosk only. I can't remember if they had that last year or not. I was also excited to hear the BOG had PPO reservations now. We'll be going in January 2017, staying onsite, and have bought 7-day tickets.

Not sure if your title is correct, maybe a different year? The Pixar shorts are in Epcot, which is three short films with 3D glasses - it will be on the second tier FP list. There is a new projection show on the castle that just started, replacing Celebrate the Magic. Unfortunately, MSEP is gone, so no night parade in MK. Not sure if Launch Bay area at HS was there when you last visited. It replaced Animation Academy, and has Star Wars memorabilia, a short film, and meet & greet w/Chewy and Kylo Ren. They also have a Star Wars stage show throughout the day. Hopefully Rivers of Light will have actually started by the time you are there! For the FP, you can get a 4th(and then 5th, 6th, etc), but you can also get these at another park if you are hopping(if available later in the day of course).

The Soarin' expansion and movie is new since then, as well.

Launch Bay sounds cool, but I'm a little bummed about not having the chance to do Animation Academy this year. My girls are finally old enough. I may still have it at art of animation though… I'll have to check into it there. And thank you for the Pixar info, I skipped right over it when trying to find it in the fast pass recommendations.

Yes, as much as we are Star Wars fans, we are sad about how much the park is changing from what it was centered around. No more Backlot, L,M,A and Animation Academy, all about the movies and how things are made. DD got to do the academy once a few yrs. back, but would now really like to do it again as she is older and really into drawing. I thought someone mentioned on here recently that AoA still had something like you said, so you could check out that thread for info.
