Disney and Peacefulness

So I'm staying at Disney All-Star Movies this week. I just left my room to get lunch when I realized how quiet and peaceful the resort and walk was. I know this week was "supposed" to be a slower week at Disney, but I definitely didn't expect this. I'm sure my tune will change later when I head off to Hollywood Studios.

try being there during a cheer competition........not peaceful. You got lucky!!

Next month, this resort will become Animal Kingdom 2. It will be WILD.

Hollywood Studios wasn't surprisingly that bad. Walked on the Mickey & Minnie train ride, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance with only waiting 20-30 minutes in line each.

Where is this info listed. I'm interested to see what leagues/tourneys the soccer and flag football competitions are. I'm assuming they're Disney sanctioned and on the fields there?

We had so many cheerleaders around during our visit. They also had an after hours event for them at HS. At 9pm HS was over ran with cheerleaders. My son

Yeah, one year when our son was 11 we happened to stay at All Star Sports during a cheerleading competition. He begged us for the next 4-5 years to go back at that time of year.

Went to Epcot today and figured out that's where everyone has been as it was absolutely packed (EPCOT International Festival of the Arts).

Boy, do I envy you! I was there the last week of January and part of the first week in February, and the cheerleaders/dance teams were so noticeable every where! That is, when I went out-it was also frigid cold!

When I checked in Monday morning there was a ton of cheerleader teams checking in at the same time. I really hadn't seen them on the busses or parks until I was at Epcot yesterday and saw a group.
