2012 was the last time we were there. I am trying to get a plan of what is a must. We will probably need to see a few princesses and of course any child ride we can do. Ages (8,6,4,1) Any new places to eat? Or suggestions on good regular hamburgers/chicken/pulledpork/fish/pizza.

We happened to run into a dance party in tomorrowland at night. Is that still there?

Thanks

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ... and Be Our Guest Restaurant! Most of Fantasyland in fact. Parts may have been open depending when you were there... Some was when we went in late 2012. New show is coming to the Animal Kingdom. New Jedi Training in Hollywood if you like that... You may have used FP+ if you went in 2012... tho that was transition time. If you haven't, FastPass is all new.

Since 2012, I believe a LOT has changed, but my years might be mixed up.

DAK
-Camp Minnie Mickey is closed, check to where those characters have been relocated throughout the park, Mickey& Minnie are together and a fast pass gets them too
-Festival of the Lion King has moved back over to the Africa region
-No more "poaching" plot line on the safari
-Harambe Marketplace is open, an open aired market type place for food & drinks, the watermelon lemonade here is DELICIOUS, can't say much for the food, it's alright
-New entertainment offerings coming in future years
-No more parade
-pizzafari here has good pizza

Epcot
-Character spot now has an area to meet Baymax
-Maelstorm is closed, it's being replaced with a frozen area, will be opening later this year
-Soarin is currently down for refurb
-Chip & Dale, Aurora & someone else are leaving Epcot next week
-Italy sit down resturants have great pizza, but not traditional

DHS
-Entire new Star Wars area called Launch Bay has opened where the Animation bld used to be, anything in the animation bld is now gone
-Adventure Happens Here dance party currently going on nightly (?)
-Lots of closures all over the park in plans for expanding
-New Force Awakens scenes added to Star Tours
-Nightly Star Wars fireworks

MK
-The entire New Fantasyland Area (maybe just mine train, this is where my years get fuzzy)
-Belle & Ariel have entire lands, great for princess lovers, Gaston meet & greet as well
-New daytime parade, it's incredible, don't miss it with littles
-Move it Shake It parade/dance party has updated
-The dance party in Tomorrowland has the Incredibles now
-Princess Fairytale Hall has opened, one side has Anna & Elsa m&g, the other is Rapunzel & Cinderella (though entertainment is always subject to change) this took place of the Snow White dark ride
-BOG resturant has b,l & d, all are good, if you have BatB lovers it's a don't miss, go for b or L as dinner is much pricier and considered a sit down
-Pecos has an entire new menu, no more burgers or pulled pork, it's got burritos and such now
-Cosmic Rays is your best bet for burgers
-Pizza can be found at Pinnochios

-As pp said, there's an entire new magicband and fast pass stuff you might not have dealt with

Theres a lot of updates in Mk

Yes fantasyland was in transition. We did see Ariel. 7dmc we want to do.

We never spend much time anywhere but MK but will still go. I was not impressed with food option at AK. Maybe we will eat b4 we get there or after we are done. We have yet to ride TSM at DHS. The lines are horrendous maybe fast pass here.

Parades, shows, family rides will fill this trip. I need to check height on rides for my oldest, maybe she can ride a bigger one, not sure.

And I was curious how long the poaching storyline would last.

Thanks

Wow, 2012 was also the last time I visited Walt Disney World. It'll definitely be a while before I get to go back!

Is this similar to the DCA little mermaid ride? We haven't been since 2012 either, and we will have one MK day next month. My daughter loved that ride when we visited Disneyland in 2013.
I don't know. I haven't been to Disneyland in a million years. I really like it a lot though and I bet your daughter will too. You ride in a clam shell on a track through Ariel's world. The line is usually very fast to get through.

Yes, it's the same ride with a more fitting queue than DCA.
