We'll be visiting MGM next Wednesday (if the weather is nice) for the first time in 3 years. What's new? Is the Bear in the Big blue house show still on?
Thanks for the help.

Yes, that show is still running. The newest attraction "Lights! Motors! Action!" stuntshow doesn't start until May....check out www.allearsnet.com under MGM.....

I'm curious about this too. I'll be taking my 2 year old daughter in April and about the only TV she watched is the Playhouse Disney shows, so I'm hoping there will be a lot of that stuff there. I'll check out the websites as the date approaches, but if anybody has any advice or info about Playhouse Disney stuff (Roly Poly Ollie, Higglytown Heroes . . ) please let me know.

They do have the Playhouse Disney show. Last May when we went they had... Bear in the Big Blue House, Rolie Polie Olie, Out of the Box and Stanley. It is really cute!

Right now the Playhouse Disney show lineup is:

Bear in the Big Blue House
Roly Poly Olly
Stanley
Book of Pooh

The show is closing for a one week rehab in about a month, and the rumor I've heard is that Jojo may be added to the lineup.

Also look for the Jojo and Goliath meet and greet at MGM on Mickey Avenue, and you can find Stanley at Rafiki's Planet Watch at the Animal Kingdom.

Yeah, she loves Jojo and Stanley too. It's tough to limit your child's TV watching when there are so much good stuff you want her to see, so she'll recognize stuff when she gets to WDW.

Is this the Indiana Jones show still the same one that they have had for years?

i believe so. i just read in UOG over the weekend that the props and costumes have been rehabed, but the show is still relatively the same!

In the past 3 years, this what's new:
Playhouse Disney - Live on Stage (Formerly Blue and the Big Blue House)
Walt Disney: One Man's Dream
Changes to the Magic of Disney Animation (Animators gone, new opening video, character greet at end)
New Tower of Terror drop sequence (Totally randomized)
Hunchback of Notre Dame closed

That's all I can come up with off the top of my head. You might find my website helpful: http://www.mgmstudios.org

Great website.

What happened to Beauty and the beast? The last time we were at MGM the theater was being used by Rosie OD for her show broadcast from MGM so we didn't get to see B & the B. I don't see it on the list of attractions. Is it still there? If not, what is in that theater (near T of T)? Thanks

Beauty and the Beast is still being performed in that location.

Oh fun if they add JoJo!!! My dd just loves that show and I agree about limiting tv time when they have so many good learning shows on there.. She will come home from daycare and spout of an animal fact and when I ask her where she learned that she will say "On Stanley"~
