Hi Nicki!!
I started reading your pre-trip report last night, it caught my eye because we are also going for the 4th of July week! We are also at Poly!!
It is myself, Kim, my DH Jeff and 2 DS alex 18 & Drew 17!
This is our first & I am so excited! I am not sure if the kids are because they have the idea that Disney is "just for kids"!! I am certain they will have a blast!!
That is awesome that you are a teacher, there is a long time of teachers in our family, as well as coaches! I am a probation officer and my husband is in sales but EVERYONE else teaches!! So good for you, what a tough but rewarding career.
I am looking forward to actually reading your stuff today, I am pretty sure I will get some good ideas from you!!
I have to say the shopping thing cracked me up! This is a battle between my husband and myself, (I love to shop) but everytime he sees that Kohl's receipt and I point out how much we "saved" his standard reply is "we would have saved more had we stayed home", he actaully said this to a sales person at Fashion Bug, i wanted to hide!!!
Anyway, thanks for all our postings and I hope your trip is great!!

WOW, what an awesome video! I can tell you guys have a lot of great memories. My first trip was in 1991 so my sisters and I kind of "grew up Disney" too. I wish I could do something like that. Thanks for sharing!

I know...and they have everything! Sometimes, I'll even do a little grocery shopping while I'm at Target!

I love the dresses!! Always so nice in the summer too. I love to wear skirts or dresses at night in the parks but how fun to do the fireworks cruise and wear it there

Oh thanks! Yeah, I like to shower mid-day, clean all the sweat and grime from walking around in the summer heat all day and then change into a comfy shirt in the evening.

Yes! Old Navy! I bought those two a few months ago actually, but they keep getting different styles in. I swear, 90% of what I own is from Old Navy!

I've already been in contact with her! Because I'm the kind of person that has to try everything on before buying it because things fit me weird (seriously everything, even if I'm just getting a shirt I just tried on in a different color!) she's going to let me send her a shirt so I'm sure it will fit! That was my biggest issue..I was afraid I'd order something and it wouldn't fit!

I actually think I might NOT go for the red white and blue after all though! I really like the rainbow one!

I seriously considered the rainbow, too. But my family wil only indulge me with matching shirts so much! LOL


Add me onto the Target list--I swear I am there 2-3 times a week. Maybe more.

Try working there!!! Those long dresses are now on clearance and we're having a HUGE clearance sale today and tomorrow...take an extra 50% off all clearance!!! So, whatever price is on that orange sticker, cut it in half. Awesome! We also have a ton of new dresses as well.

On my quest for red, white and blue, a DIS friend directed me to another DISer who makes tie-dyed shirts. But because I'm so indecisive, I'm still not sure if I want red, white and blue or just the traditional rainbow. She does such great work that I wanted one of every picture she has on her site! Anyway, because I'm so oddly proportioned, I have to try on everything I buy to make sure it fits me right. Because of that, I was really nervous about ordering from her, as I wasn't sure what size to get. Luckily, she said I could send her a shirt to dye! Perfect! Now that led me to needing to find the perfect white shirt......which I still haven't. But in our shopping today, Tom got himself a new hat for Disney!! It's perfect because it's "holey" in the back so he'll stay cool in that July heat!

Yes, we have so many great memories. Going through all the photos and watching the videos brought back so many memories! My sister and I had a blast on our trips!

The comforter is now used by Maddie to build forts and our guests use it when staying over for the night.

That is so funny! We bought this comforter after we painted our room blue! Too funny! Our queen size boxspring also wouldn't fit up the stairs when we bought it so we had to return it and get two half sized ones!
