What's it like in October?

We are starting to plan for our Oct. trip and I was just wondering what are the crowds like and what is the weather like. We are going around Halloween.

My girlfriend and I went last Oct. and were surprised how bad the crowds were at times. A couple major points to consider right off the start is columbus day and the PGA stop - avoid going during those times if you are concerned w. crowds at all. Having gone in sept., I thought it was less crowded then.

We met some DIS friends at WDW last October over Columbus Day weekend. We went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party & went to the parks; we didn't find the crowds unbearable at all. The weather was beautiful - warm, sunny, not summertime humidity, etc. We have also been to WDW later in October & enjoyed it then, too.

We were there over Halloween last year and it was GREAT! Low crowds and really warm weather. Much warmer than in the April/May time that we usually go. You could actually swim comfortably.

We would definitely go again in October.

I love going in October. THe MNSSHP is great along with the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot. The weather is great and the
crowds aren't bad at all. Except on Saturdays at the Magic Kingdom
