I have just started my collection...Bambi, Cindarella and Fox & The Hound. My awesome DH just bought me the special edition of Lady & The Tramp...gotta love him!

What's in your vault?

I have been collecting all the DVDs/VHSs for a few years.
The only main movie I am missing is The Little Mermaid. I have it on VHS but I can not wait until it comes out on DVD! (October!!!! :cool1: )

Beauty and the Beast
Aladdin
Cinderella
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

The Santa Clause I and II (hey- they are Disney!)

We have a bunch on VHS at my parents' house but those are the ones I have for now on DVD at our house.

I have pretty much everything that has been released on DVD to date. I don't get the sequels or direct to video releases usually, but I get all the main ones and classics. I asked for Lady and the Tramp for my b-day in a few weeks, and anxiously awaiting the Little Mermaid release. I am also missing a few of the live action classics like Swiss Family Robinson....but my collection is pretty complete.

We have all the "Platinum" editions and all the newer Disney/Pixar animated movies that were released in the theater and have come out on DVD.

We don't have some of the direct to DVD stuff or live action stuff because, well, they suck.

Because of Disney's "vault" system we have some copies that can't be replaced or purchsed by others which also sucks.

We are closing in on about 30 Disney DVD's, one I know I am missing but will have to wait awhile for is Sleeping Beauty :guilty: I try to get all the classics and then DD12 has a lot of extra's (Freaky Friday, PoC, Princess Diaries, etc...) I can't wait for the Little Mermaid :goodvibes

We also have a lot of VHS tapes and I am trying to slowly replace them with DVD's. Once I replace a tape I put in in the garage sale pile and if for some reason it doesn't sell I donate them to a local women's and children's center, they loved the huge stack I brought to them last year.

I have most of the animated classics on VHS. I have Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, The Fox and The Hound, The Little Mermaid, Alladin, Lady and the Tramp, etc. The two that I can think of off the top of my head that we don't have are Sleeping Beauty and Bambi. I also have many of the live-action ones.

On DVD, I have Alladin and Lion King.

I have almost all the classics (thanks to my MIL who works for the Disney Store!). Only problem is that most of them are on VHS, and we've slowly been replacing them with DVD. I don't we'll replace all of them, just some of most popular ones.

My family has almost every Disney movie including live action films like Pete's Dragon and Trouble with the Angles. Some rare ones include North Avenue Irregulars (which is hillarious) and Condor Man! We also have a PAL VHS of Song of the South. :goodvibes

Lots...all the classics on VHS or DVD (as they are released)
A lot of the newer live action ones and some assorted older ones.
Pete's Dragon, Follow Me Boys, Donald in Mathmagicland...and other "odd" ones :rotfl:

I have just about all the animated features on DVD(including Little Mermaid--I got it when it came out the first time). Also some of the key live action movies like Poppins, Swiss Family Robinson. I have also bought all of those releases that came in tins.:earsboy:

Just about everything that has come out to this point that is annimated..lol

We did miss the first few as it was right before we got into collecting them. We bought some on ebay when we first began collecting and spent way too much money trying to get some that were already back in the vault..lol

Sooo..the only ones we are missing are Little Mermaid and 101 Dalmations.
We can't wait for those to come back out. Several movies we have more than one of b/c we got the original one when it came out then hubby could not resist buying the special edition ones as they come out again.. :rotfl:

Our Disney DVD collection is my hubby's pride and joy.. :lmao:

Little Mermaid is coming out of the vault in October - according to the Lady and Tramp DVD.

Here's a great link for the Disney site....

We have SOOO many Disney movies.. I started collecting when DD was an infant (She will be 9 tomorrow), and some of those that were not out I was able to get at a consignment shop - I walked in one day when someone had just dropped off their whole Disney collection and I made a haul!

Here is the list of "classics" that we have from this website:
http://homepage.usask.ca/~jjs142/movielist.htm, we have many many others - PIXAR, #2s, sequels, etc. I have an old copy of Mary Poppins which is an all time favorite - I still remember seeing it when it was released in 1964 at a drive-in theater. Disney animated movies bring back very fond memories from my childhood!

I can't wait until I can replace all the VHS with DVD!!!

I do need 101 Dalmations... I have a copy of it, but not an original.

Suffice to say, we've got just about everything! We've passed over most of the 'two' movies (Cinderella, Pocahontas, Tarzan and Jane), but if it's been released and it's animated, we've got it. Also have all but one of the Treasures box set (but that will be aquired soon).

Live action is a work in progress.

DH is a 'completist', so there will be movies in the library that I didn't want. Similarly, I've got the regular and collectors edition of quite a few movies, and each release of some others.

These are all DVDs. My MIL had bought every VHS release as it came out. When older DS was born, she started passing them off to us. My sister was extremely happy a year ago, as we gave her every title we already owned on DVD!

No, we don't like movies! :teeth:
