I saw a post elsewhere that after leaving Ketchikan, the crew were going around scanning everyone's key cards and asking if their entire group was accounted for.
There is a post on another social media site from someone who is on the Wonder right now. Apparently they were scanning KTTW cards at the second dinner seating, there is wild speculation on that post as to what has happened. Even the OP of that post doesn't know, they updated just a little while ago but they had no new info. Someone overboard? Someone snuck on? Someone missed the ship when it left Ketchikan?
They usually make an announcement over head before leaving if they missed scanning someone. It sounds more like a man overboard thing because they would know who wasn't scanned back in.
Oddly, one time when we boarded after a port, my husband wasn't scanned in. We had just sat down to eat in a restaurant when his name was called on the loud speaker to come to a phone. They said they didn't have a record of him reboarding and were just checking if he was on the ship.
I think he has weird luck with that stuff. Another time when we were disembarking the ship, he had the wrong key card. We didn't notice that he was given the wrong key card when signing the check in a lounge the night before. He's only been on 3 Disney cruises. The odds are against him.
