What's good at the Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast?

We are eating breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe on my birthday! I've always wanted to try this place and I thought it would be a nice chance to check out the Christmas decorations before we hop over to the Magic Kingdom. Any reccomendations on anything particularly yummy? I checked out the menu on WDWIG and it looked great. The Citrus French toast sort of caught my eye. Anybody had that? What's it like?

GF Cafe is a wonderful place for breakfast. It's been our tradition to visit this restaurant once-----OK, usually twice. The service has always been excellent!

I think the question should be "What ISN'T good?"

We went in October, and were overwhelmed with the selection and quality of the food at this buffet! The made to order omelets are fantastic, and make sure to try the cheese potatos!!!

The service was great, and our OJ glasses never even got to a 1/4 full before they were being refilled! The coffee here was pretty good, as well. There is a full service bar, as well, in case you desire a morning cocktail.

I am not a breakfast eater, but I will definitely say that for this place I WILL eat and love breakfast.

The characters were fantastic, as well. Alice in Wonderland is so cute, and Mary Poppins and Bert were great! Tigger and Pooh were lots of fun, as well!

eeyore0062, I think you are describing the 1900 Park Fare character buffet. The Grand Floridian Cafe is a table service restaurant with no characters.

You're right, though, 1900 Park Fare is yummy! We just want to try something different this time.
