What's good at Panera Bread

Wow - that's ok on WW? That's an almost 700 calorie meal! Who knew? I think I need to re-think WW!

And for the lovers of the Asiago cheese bagel -- 350 calories before you put butter or cc on them.

I wish I could splurge like that! You're so lucky!

I stay away from Panera bc it's too much of a temptation.

At WW they go by your weight too...me being under 150 pounds get less food than someone over 150...and more over 175...etc...
the main point like someone said of WW is portions, and for me exercise... and that it is ok to eat a 700 cal meal but you need to not do that everyday or not every meal...that is what is cool about the points system!!

eat whatever food you like!! Just stay on points!!!

Yes-anything is possible on WW! I lost over 100 lbs doing the at-home program and I usually do Panera every 2-3 weeks making smart choices and limiting my points for the remainder of the day and my size 5/6 jeans still fit :)

I love the New England Clam Chowder in the Sourdough bread bowl. Yummy . . .

The Broccoli Cheese and the French Onion are both good as well.

I really like the:

Cream of Chicken with Wild Rice soup

Pumpkin Muffins

Fandango Salad

I am enjoying this thread.
I am the one that took the Ruby Tuesday thread off course
Our Panera is under construction

I love getting the Garden Veg soup with the sierra turkey sandwich - When my kids were babies I would get a bowl of the veg soup and give them the veggies (they are so soft) and i would dip the bread in the broth! Here it is The St. Louis Bread Company (started here!)

I've never eaten a thing there and won't. Only got coffee. Someone at my former job that worked in the ER ate a bagel from there and ended up IN THE ER WITH FOOD POISONING! :faint:  No thanks!!

It just takes that one thing to turn you off forever.

Mmmmm, just ate at Panera tonight with my sister....my husband and her fiance are sick so we left them home and spent some time together :) I had the low fat garden veggie soup and a half fandango salad....yum!!
