Hey evrybody. I know it's been a while, again. It's tough to be a full time college student, ful time worker and full time boyfriend and still find time to get on the net fredquently. OH well.
Monday night we're having another one of our successful wine dinners. I heard chef saying they invited the food crtitc of the orlando sentinel, so if there's a review in the paper, I'll post it. It looks like we'll be offering the m every other month, so those of you who will be in Orlando in August, keep your ears open!
We'll be having a special father's day meal similar to the mother's day and current feasting of the gods. For 28 bucks, you get your chocie of cesar salad or lobster and corn bisque, grilled lamb chops w/ a guiness gastrique sauce or killians red brasied short ribs, chessecake rollup or strawberry shortcake. I forgot what the acompaniments will be with the entrees, but I believe the shortribs are being served with a barley and tart cherry risotto.
New menu is in the pipeline, so keep looking for an update.
Universal is having an internal culinary competition for all of its cooks. Guess who's eager to flex his culinary skills and win a spot on the IOA divisonal team!? Wish me luck!
Speaking of competitions, Chef Mark has entered soem really neat dishes into a food show, so we're all rooting for him.
Well, gotta go and get some sleep. I have a long day tommorrow. For those of you who were wondering, my name's Randy. Look for the tall guy with flared sideburns!
