I'm trying to plan menus for the week and I'm out of ideas :confused3

What is everyone here having for dinner?

Well, I was planning something a little more elaborate, but DS has decided that he wants to cook hot dogs for us on the grill (he tried his own at lunch and did a good job!) so I think I will let him make dinner for us. Not the greatest entree, but I am glad that he wants to do this! Plus, it's a beautiful 70 degrees outside, a great day for hot dogs!

I am having a very simple dinner tonight...Tuna Fish on Whole Wheat bread, Carrot Sticks and Tri Color Italian Pasta! :)

I put a roast in the crock put with carrots & onions, Also making Mashed taters & noodles.

I've got some chicken marinating in soy sauce, brown sugar, salt and pepper that I'll put on the grill. Sides will be asparagus and brown rice.

Ham and Potatoes Au Gratin

Slice six medium-sized potatoes. Slice one onion. Cube a ham steak (I usually use about 1 cup of ham).

Mix one can cream of mushroom soup with 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 teaspoon thyme and 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese.

Line the bottom of a greased dish with half the potatoes. Top with the onion and ham. Add 1/3 of the sauce. Top with the remaining potatoes. Pour the remaining sauce on top. Bake at 350 for about 2 hours (cover if it starts to get too dark). If you like, you can sprinkle some extra cheese on top and broil just before serving if you want it really cheesy.

Since I was in a hurry today, I microwaved the potatoes before slicing them, and will only cook it for about an hour. I also have a caesar salad ready to go with it. I can smell it in the oven now, and let me tell you that it smells REALLY GOOD :lovestruc

Barbecue pork sandwiches with mixed veggies.

DH is making chicken curry. :thumbsup2 Last night, I used up the ham bone from one of last week's dinners and made split pea soup.

Stuffed roast chicken
Mashed potatoes
candied carrots
corn
banana bread

I made 'random rice stuff'. It's like risotto but with regular rice (because I forgot to get some risotto rice :rotfl:). Leek, peppers, onion, mushrooms, all chopped up, fried off (no oil needed), add white wine, vegetable stock and a few cups of rice, a sprinkling of paprika, salt, pepper and a few chick peas.

It makes no sense but it takes good and is a basis for any meal :rotfl:

its lovely outside today so we're grilling burgers

homemade cabbage rolls with side dish of perogies with sour creme :thumbsup2

Tonight we're having pulled pork sandwiches. Yum!

Roast beef dinner tonight (roast was on sale @ S&S) & I have a chicken soup cooking away in my crockpot for tomorrow's dinner.

Dukkah crusted atlantic salmon with steamed broccoli, cauliflower and green beans.
Rice cooked with vegetable stock, pine nuts and parsley and cherries for dessert.

I'm vegetarian so I just have the veggies and the rice but my hubby and son both adore salmon.

We had Smithfield ham. I bought a small one pre-cooked and sliced. I think it might be 2 lbs.. I heated that, had mashed potatoes, green beans for sides. For dessert we had black cherry jello with pears with cool whip on top. It was a quick meal, but good!

We had lots of ham leftover. Not sure what I'll do with that.

I've got a pot roast on the stove (with carrots, onions, and potatoes). It should be done soon.
