as I thought, Ross didn't place in the tournament.....I knew when he was sitting more with us then wandering around with everyone that he didn't feel good. His division went later then normal, and by then his dayquil had worn off, lol. He did great, just others did better. He didn't drop his bo in weapons, and during point fighting he sure made the other kid worked for his win! The kid knocked Ross down once and he hit his elbow so hard that we heard it across the gym, well that made him mad, so he got up and just nailed the kid, knocking him down. The ref was dying laughing. Ross' elbow is all black and swollen and he can't bend it very well. Par for the course........

OUCH! Poor baby, hope he's doing OK.

Thanks Peg, I had no idea it was on the home page!!!:thumbsup2

Gina- Share what you are having on WW, please. I am going to try the CORE program for a week with Marisa, Erica is sticking with the FLEX, but the food I cook will be point friendly. I have not tried to "diet" in years but I am truly disgusted with myself lately. Buddy keeps telling me to go shopping, tells me I need new clothes and I tell him NO. I don't like how I look in anything so I don't shop. I want to shop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pssst...I am having my wicked food tonight too. I am addicted to the salt and vinegar chips :rolleyes1 so I am having them tonight.

Peg- Thanks for posting the link for us. I love to see how all of the kids are doing.

Wendie-Poor Ross. At least the other kid id not walk away with the win, and it only cost him one elbow. I forgot how it felt to be Mom to boys :rotfl:

Janice- are you going to make your grandmother's shrimp?

The girls went to Hu Ke Lau for lunch sot hey are having leftovers for dinner. I don't know what Buddy and I will have, I have not cooked all weekend. I actually did not much of anything this weekend.

Aimee- loved your outfit! You must have looked fabulous.
:lmao: I am laughing over the thought of you preaching in them...you go girl!

Hershey- I think there was an explosion in my closet when I was not looking.
I should follow in your foot steps and do some 'spring' cleaning.

Kathy- :cheer2: your pitcher is getting alot of well earned press!!

Everybody- Thanks for all the Birthday wishes for my Mom. The party was fun. Luke got to play 'Rock Star' with his cousins (he would not give up the microphone!):rotfl: Food was good and so were the adult beverages!

Ann

Aimee--Glad you had a nice time at the party..I love your outfit....sooo did you wear the shoes to church today?? I hope your throat gets better soon!!

Nope! I could wear them with pants and they wouldn't look as hookerish for a Sunday morning =)

:cool1:

We ended up taking the ILs to Cotton Patch Cafe for an early dinner. FIL loves that place, we never get to go anywhere else when they are here.

Nancy No I just found that shrimp recipe that I thought I lost. Alex won't eat shrimp anymore. Ever since the infamous eating tail end first incidence.

I ended up making a sirloin and sweet potato fries and pretzel bread. Yes I know too many carbs but boy did they taste good.;)
I found the pretzel bread at of all places Target who knew:confused3 .

Ann Be careful following in my foot steps it could end up being a dangerous. My new motto is housework hurts :rolleyes1 Avoid it at all costs

HELP NEEDED PLEASE!!!!!!

I've got a lot of leftover pork from the roast I made today and want to turn it into BBQ pork sandwiches for later in the week. I've never done it before - I need tips/recipes. Do I just add BBQ sauce??:confused3

Hey All! Quick check in. We had a very busy day and Tom is taking off tomorrow to get more painting done...Ugh! The end has to be near!

Aimee, Glad you had a good time at the party! Your dress looks very nice. I hope you feel better. How great about the car! That is why I drive our truck...the mileage rots and I hardly go anywhere but driving to my Mom's is a killer. Over 1/4 tank!

Wendie, I hope Ross feel better.

Lucas, Thanks for posting the pic of our baseball star!

Kathy, you must be so proud of your boy!

Janice, that shrimp looks so good! I wish my guys would eat it. Do you need a wing marinade recipe? that one I posted not too long ago was good. I can repost if you would like.

Nancy and Gina, We are back on the WW band wagon tomorrow too...

I hope everyone is well! have a good evening!

I would just shred it and add a bottle of bbq sauce, or as much as you need, and heat it.

ETA: I have never had a traditional bbq sandwich but I think alot of place put coleslaw and pickles on the sandwich...I am sure others will post for you as well.

You can use the roast in your tomato sauce, too. I usually use leftover pork roast or pork chops in my sauce. It makes the sauce taste really yummy it also changes the color a bit to a more orange color:confused3

Re the bbq I would add to the sauce to heat though. I don't know if that is right but that's what I do.

That's all I do, too. Just pour in BBQ sauce.

(we just do pickles)

Per my husband's request, we are having Boo patties and chips tonight. My BIL may be coming over, too.

WFD at your house?

ETA: I thought I'd share a bit of good news with you guys. I now officially own a pair of "fat pants." :lmao: I bought a pair of brown dress paints for Easter to go with a very pretty top. Well, I put them on yesterday and they darn things were HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!! They fit comfortably when I wore them 2 weeks ago, but not anymore! Seriously, I was glad I sit all day long. If I had been standing, they would have fallen to the floor!

I had no idea I had already lost an inch or so from working out, but I'm not complaining!

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:GO LINDSAY!

Lindsay- :thumbsup2 CONGRATS on the success so quickly!

Just the baby and myself. He will most likely be eating his gourmet canned meatballs, and peas. He is so darn fussy and hates food...he does not get that from me!:rotfl:

I won't be going to my DP today since I saw them yesterday and tomorrow they are watching Luke while I have a test done.

WFD- I may grill myself a ribeye and who know what else.

Good Morning!

Tom is home today and we are going to prime more and maybe get some of the ceiling painted.

I am doing a chicken stir fry and rice today.

Have a great day all!

Today I am making a rotisserie style chicken in the crockpot with curried sweets, green beans and a salad. I need to find a starch for Kady and maybe another veggie. The chicken is CORE if you do not eat the skin, 1 PT per oz FLEX.

I do not have Lawrys seasoning so I am substituting my season all. I hope it does not matter.

Crockpot Rotisserie Chicken Whole Chicken (I cooked a 6 pounder)
Olive Oil Cooking Spray
Lawry's Seasoned Salt (no substitutes)
Aluminum foil

Clean chicken inside and out. Spray with olive oil spray.

Sprinkle inside and out with Lawry's.

Spray inside of crock with cooking spray. Note: Do not put any water in the crockpot.

Roll some wads of aluminum foil into balls and put them in the bottom of the crock. The chicken is going to sit on these.

Put chicken back side down in crock on top of aluminum balls.

Cook on High (will not come out the same on low), 4-6 hours.

Core friendly without the skin.

1 Point Per Ounce of cooked chicken without skin on it. (Flex)

I am happy to share my meals, because i am sure i will get some great ideas from you ladies as well!
I do have a wonderful food find...Breakfast was 2 slices of Fiber One's new cinn. raisin toast...140 cals, 1.5 grams fat and 8 grams fiber! 2 points! and let me tell you..it was GOOD!
