The menu on allears doesn't state specifics. I'm assuming traditional breakfast food. My daughter loves the characters at Chef Mickeys and loves the fact that after eating some healthy foods she gets to eat donuts and a brownie for breakfast (only at WDW). I've heard there's an omelette station which I believe she'd like. Also, I've asked if there's pancakes and I know she'd love those. Any sweet treat to lure her in? (Again, only at WDW would I cave to sweets to top off breakfast) What else does the breakfast offer?
Overall, I would love the convenience of being in the park already and not going back and forth from MK to get to Contemporary to eat at CM. Being there before park opening would be nice for pics too. My girls much prefer the characters at CM though and we like the fun atmosphere. What's on the menu will factor in for our decision.

The puffed French toast is a sinfully good treat for breakfast. It's deep-fried and coated in sugar and cinnamon. There is also a very good breakfast pizza. There is an assortment of breads and muffins, fruit and yogurt, and typical breakfast meats, such as sausage, bacon, and if I remember correctly, corned beef hash. There are waffles and pancakes as well. I seem to recall there was a frittata and some scrambled eggs with cheese, and then the omelet station you mentioned. I don't recall everything, but there is certainly no shortage of delicious foods to try, and there are some healthy options included. Enjoy!

Can't remember all that's there beyond the basics at all the b'fast buffets, except some yummy puffed pastries (sort of like puffed french toast - can't remember if they were stuffed) that were very good.

YUM! Sounds like they have a big variety and many options that would appeal to my crew. Random question here...are the waffles the cute little Mickey shaped waffles? They're a favorite of both of my daughters.

Yes they are the little Mickey waffles. They had regular & chocolate when we ate there.

Great to know! Just made the switch from Chef Mickey's to Crystal Palace. I'm so excited to try it for the first time as we've only eaten dinner there before. Chef Mickeys is a favorite of my daughter, but I think she'll like the food and option at CP better. I know I'll love getting in the park early and not traveling back and forth between MK and Contemporary to get to & from Chef Mickeys. Keeping my fingers crossed that I made the right decision.

Just to add that my DH & I (yes, even without kids) felt so special walking down Main Street looking at the Castle and taking pictures of an empty park while the "hoards" were waiting outside to get in pixiedust: Is that mean or what?? :dance3: We have early ressies there before the park opens again in April. It's just so special, not to mention we love the CP breakfast - it helps I've always been an eeyore fan and it's my birthday. Y'all enjoy and have a magical time :wizard: I know you will. :goodvibes

No, not mean at all; I'm thinking the very same thing. I'm glad you had such a good experience. It's encouraged me that I made a good decision with switching. I hope you have a wonderful time in April celebrating your birthday! :)

You're the first person I've ever heard mention bagels, let alone smoked salmon and the other toppings. You just made my husband very happy! Getting more excited by the minute about switching my reservation to CP.

My husband was glad to see breakfast lasagna back on the menu. I had read here back when I was making ressies that it was no longer offered, but it's back. And he ate two large helpings!
