Is it that clothes just don't sell well on Ebay? My prices were more than reasonable--the 2 items I did sell I practically gave away! They were listed the second week of January--was my timing off?

When is a good time to list Spring clothes?

I'd say that January isn'ta great time to sell clothes. So many folk have a closet full of new Holiday clothes & the bills to go with them. Of course, I've never had any luck with selling clothing on eBay - so don't pay me any mind.

I don't sell my clothing by the piece. I sell my clothing in lots of usually about 30-40 pieces each. I usually have mostly namebrands in my lot, and I usually make about $200-$300 a week with 5-6 lots of clothing.

Normally I find the selling season for Spring clothes starts in late Feb. and summer goes well into April.

However, since they had a listing sale a week or so ago I listed about 4 lots of dresses, sizes 5T and 6X and most sold and most did pretty well. I figured if they didn't sell I could easily relist during the selling season. There was one lot that sold for the opening bid which disappointed me because I had 13 watches. I figured after it ended that the 13 watches must have been other sellers waiting to see if spring clothes would sell during this time...LOL!

I usually do pretty well selling children's clothes on Ebay. Been selling them for the past 4 years. I will say that they do better in lots and most have some type of name brand associated. They also do better in sizes 2T and up. Never had great luck on selling infant sizes.

I would wait to relist yours until next month. Spring clothes' sales usually pick up then as some "warm" waves start popping up and most retailers start advertising spring fashions. Good luck.

How about Easter clothes? When to list them? Would those sell one item / listing, or do better in lots? I have a lot of new or excellent condition upscale brand Easter type clothes, also they would be light weight so shipping wouldn't be too much.

When you sell in lots, is it typically used or new? I'm reconsidering my Goodwill bag, perhaps there's some items in there I could list.

I have 2 NWT Disney store night gowns ending in about 2 hours. Right now thry're going for really low prices. Take a look. I also am selling a NWT Easter dress. It's going for $8. I'm pleased with this price. I was hoping for $5.
